All good! Think of this:

Very skinny legs and two serious injuries in the last 4 years to just one of those legs.

Already, he had very little lower body strength.

Now, after sitting out a year with very little he can do to strengthen either leg, all of a sudden he is going to have strong legs and go against NBA bigs.

Sorry, I doubt it ever happens? The odds are so against Noel being an impact player, but more of a role player off the bench. You don't waste a top pick on such a high risk. Henny is not that stupid.

The argument that got me was a Tyson chandler comparison. Only Noel is more mobile than the chandler I've seen. Great match to
Vooch seeing how vucci has something to desire on defense.

Bledsoe
Hark
Harris
Noel
Vucci

I love that young core. I think this year is development year for them and we will lose enough games to get a game changer star next draft. But I think that lineup would be so damn fun to watch.

I don't like Victor Oladipo nearly as much as most everybody, but he does not have the ball very often at all, and definitely not enough to disrupt anything.

The only time Victor gets shots up is if he is running full steam ahead or is wide open for a set shot open (NCAA range) three. He really isn't an offensive player at all.

He is more of an opportunistic scorer (like Moe), where its all mostly fast break/transition baskets, wide open spot ups, and quick cuts to the basket. There will be a lot of shocked fans once they realize how few offensive skills Dipo has.
A smart coach once said, "Potential just means you're not good enough yet." Playing on potential is like living on air: It's essential, but if thats all you have, you're eventually going to starve.

I like the premise of that idea. But, Chandler didn't have chicken legs like Noel. I would never want to gamble my teams chances of rebuilding on an injury prone player. I mean, why spend a 2nd overall pick on a player who could quite possibly never play in an NBA game.

If a team like the Suns catches wind of the Bulls possibly trading to 3 & targeting McLemore or Oladipo that could force them to get a deal done for the #2 pick to guarantee them one of the 2 guards.

Too bad their assets are:

the bulls should just stand pat. trading deng isn't doing them any favors. i honestly think that if rose was healthy this year, they take out the heat and get to the finals. and with a healthy rose next year, they have a better chance of beating the heat than anyone else imo.

Chandler does indeed have chicken legs. How can you say he doesnt? Difference being chandler doesn't run as fast as Noel. Worst case scenario for Noel is he busts and we have a higher chance at wiggins/Parker/randle.

Seriously chandler has the skinniest legs of any big man I can think of still playing.
Maybe biyombo or zeller/Leonard? Just off the top of my head. Could be wrong but I have a snapshot of chandlers legs, and his beard had more width and depth.

Oh and how fitting, Tyson's chicken legs were a #2 draft pick as well.

That Chandler pic makes him look like Gerald Green. You sure no photoshop was performed?

Wait, did Chandler have 2 serious knee injuries causing him to miss almost 2 seasons of basketball within a 4 year span before he was drafted???

Oladipo to me has such a Wade hard on that it is just nagging away at me for some reason to the point ive decided i dont want him. Noel doesnt seem to me like the sort of player that will make that much of an impact and feels overhyped.

But McCollum just seems to tick every box, and his character is incredible. That intelligence of the game is going to make him one hell of a player. Fingers crossed....

Co-sign. I'm hoping CJ is still there at #9 and we can swing a deal with Minny for their #9 and #26 for our #2. I'd like to come away with CJ McCollum and Tony Mitchell.

i think the thunder could if they get a better starting PF or C to kick Perkins out their Lineup. Lamb needs to step up a lil bit. combine with a Healthy Westbrook and them heat aint looking so hot

The fact that the Cavs are still playing games with who they like 3 days before the draft just proves that they are trying to get out of that pick very badly. First everyone thought they were a lock for Noel... then they said they liked McLemore... then they said they liked Oladipo.... then they said they liked Len... now they are entertaining Deng. Seems like they have told the world everything except for who they really want most of all. Zero to zilch rumors on Porter... Wonder why??? Cause they want to trade down and STILL land him! Mums the word on him. These guys think they are smart. If they say they are interested in a chump like Len, then when they trade down teams will think he is their target. When the guy they really want is Porter.

I'm on to you Cleveland!

Butler could probably step in at the 3 spot for them.

No doubt about it for me. I think they take Oladipo for sure. Thibadeau prioritizes defense and Oladipo fits them like a glove.

Think Mitchell lasts to 26? I don't if I'm being honest with myself.
