Butler could probably step in at the 3 spot for them.

No doubt about it for me. I think they take Oladipo for sure. Thibadeau prioritizes defense and Oladipo fits them like a glove.

Yea Thibs could very well have fallen in love with a guy like Dipo throughout this whole process.

Let the rumors roll in!!!

I just so much don't like any player projected as a top 5 pick as being worthy of a top 3 pick. I really want to trade down soo bad.

Oladipo to me has such a Wade hard on that it is just nagging away at me for some reason to the point ive decided i dont want him. Noel doesnt seem to me like the sort of player that will make that much of an impact and feels overhyped.

But McCollum just seems to tick every box, and his character is incredible. That intelligence of the game is going to make him one hell of a player. Fingers crossed....

Co-sign. I'm hoping CJ is still there at #9 and we can swing a deal with Minny for their #9 and #26 for our #2. I'd like to come away with CJ McCollum and Tony Mitchell.

Think Mitchell lasts to 26? I don't if I'm being honest with myself.

I don't think CJ lasts to #9, but I'm just a lowly lay fan of basketball that has no inside info on anything. I'm just hoping for the best and what I'd like to see. I think the scenario is just as possible as any other mentioned. I think New York is the team I'm most afraid of taking Mitchell.

I don't like Victor Oladipo nearly as much as most everybody, but he does not have the ball very often at all, and definitely not enough to disrupt anything.

The only time Victor gets shots up is if he is running full steam ahead or is wide open for a set shot open (NCAA range) three. He really isn't an offensive player at all.

He is more of an opportunistic scorer (like Moe), where its all mostly fast break/transition baskets, wide open spot ups, and quick cuts to the basket. There will be a lot of shocked fans once they realize how few offensive skills Dipo has.

Great, now I really dont have a favorite anymore.

Noel = chicken legs, glass body
BMac = too fat, no work ethic, out of shape, disappears in crunch time
Dipo = effective only part time, not a creator an opportunistic scorer
Burke = too short, lots of heart but still too short.

I give up, I pray that Henny will make the best decision. what ever he does will leave a group very unhappy, so in Rob i trust.

So, you give up on Moe as well?

While I like Moes potential, he has no where near the heart, motor Oladipo has. I want at least one player on my team who's going to pump everyone else up, and IMO Oladipo is that guy.

IMO, we should pick up Dipo and put Harkless as 6th man. If Moe starts to shine, then keep him. If not, trade him.

Dude looks good. But I think we already have good enough Dunkers in Harkless and Harris. His motor is sexy to sauté least, but we really need a good shooter an or compliment to vucci. I'd still prefer Mac, Noel to dipo.

It still confused me how people talk about Noel's first injury like they know anything about it lol

His first injury wasn't that serious. I majored in physical therapy. No correlation between the first and the second. If you disagree please argue with facts

Here's how I see it.

Noel = Magic are a big man factory and can dramatically improve Noel's physique.
BMac = Can't find any reason why he'd be an upgrade to what we currently have.
Dipo = Total team player, plays within himself and will have an impact on both sides of the ball.
Burke = Too many PGs have proven that height is not a determining factor in having success as a PG. Burke is the real deal. No other player can help us as much as he can.

Even if we disregard the injuries - completely - he has a bunch of other unappealing physical traits that don't make him apt for the #2 pick (see: twig).

Is there a big difference between him now and Garnett at first? Word is Noel is at 220 right now

You can put @LuolDeng9 to the Wiz for @BigMek50 and the 3rd pick on ice. No chance.

IMO the ratio of good shooters to (already proven) great defenders in any given draft / free agency is about 20 : 2. That's why we should go with Oladipo.

I don't ever see Noel having as big of a physical / mental presence as Garnett, so I don't think it's fair to compare the two. Just my opinion though.

Anyone else agree / disagree?

The more teams I talk to in the late 20's, the less enthusiasm I hear from any of them about keeping their draft picks.

Phoenix, New Orleans, Sacramento, and Detroit may look for PG's. I think PHX likes MCW based on them calling him back. It's also possible he can drop to 9.
