Oladipo to me has such a Wade hard on that it is just nagging away at me for some reason to the point ive decided i dont want him. Noel doesnt seem to me like the sort of player that will make that much of an impact and feels overhyped.

But McCollum just seems to tick every box, and his character is incredible. That intelligence of the game is going to make him one hell of a player. Fingers crossed....

Co-sign. I'm hoping CJ is still there at #9 and we can swing a deal with Minny for their #9 and #26 for our #2. I'd like to come away with CJ McCollum and Tony Mitchell.

Even if we disregard the injuries - completely - he has a bunch of other unappealing physical traits that don't make him apt for the #2 pick (see: twig).

Is there a big difference between him now and Garnett at first? Word is Noel is at 220 right now

I don't ever see Noel having as big of a physical / mental presence as Garnett, so I don't think it's fair to compare the two. Just my opinion though.

Anyone else agree / disagree?

How can people bring up him being skinny when there are guys like Kevin Durant running train on the NBA?

Garnett? Keon Clark? Jeremy Evans?

So many skinny guys that didn't fall apart due to injury. To me he seems more like a wirey strong than a rail skinny with no muscle.

Doesn't look too skinny here

IMO there is a huge difference between Garnett(Skinny and strong) vs a guy like Durant(Skinny and weak)

Let alone the fact that the kid was freaking 18....He was a teenage kid with a teenage kids body. What the hell is strange about that?

Kevin durant is a 6-10/6-11 SF. Noel is a PF/C.

You'd like your #2 overall pick to be a Keon Clark or Jeremy Evans? Really?

SF Reggie Bullock (Guy has snuck all the way up to 19 on DX)...Tony Snell...Glen Rice Jr...James Ennis

PF Tony Mitchell...Jackie Carmichael...CJ Leslie...Grant Jerrett

C Jeff Withey...Gorgui Dieng...Colton Iverson

That's like saying Shaquille O'Neal and Eddy Curry are the same player because on the body size.
or
Patt Garrity is the exact same as Ryan Anderson.
or
Garnett is the same as Ryan Hollins

I understand that you're comparing physical looks but what's i don't understand how you think you can make a successful point if the players you're using as proof aren't #2 pick worthy / borderline trash.

I'm not worried about Noels upper half one bit....It's the bottom half.

I know there are some great trainers in the NBA though & I feel they will help him to fix his bottom half.

My problem isn't his weight. I just don't wanna draft a guy at #2 who is really only a defensive player. There are other guys in the draft who can block shots. His injury sucked big time cause I was really looking forward to watching his offensive improvements throughout the year.

He should be using players that prove his point - not disprove it. By saying that Evans and Clark have the same body frame tells me that we quite possibly have another bust in our hands. The only viable player anyone can use as proof is Garnett and hell, I could chalk Garnette and his achievements downs as anomalies. Players with Noels frame are much more often to be busts that to be HOF players such as Garnett.

I think he's saying that their bodies haven't fallen apart, even though they are skinny like Noel, I don't think he's talking about playing ability. Neither of those guys were supposed to be as good.

However, it is worth noting that Noel's game will make him more injury prone. Feels weird having a guy's athletic ability as a potential negative though.

PF: Livio Jean-Charles (This guy is pure hustle and positional type player)

To those that think Nerlens can only block shots... Well, they clearly didnt watch one Kentucky game this year. He's a defensive juggernaut. And his legs will get bigger. Hard to squat after an ACL injury... Give him a year or two to bulk up like Dwight did and then judge

Would i be 100% accurate if I were to say that he will continue on to be a defensive juggernaut on the NBA level against the likes of Howard, Bynum, and other superb physical specimens?
