That would be one fun team to watch :D

Exciting if you like watching chickens run around without their heads on.

Looks like a bunch of talented guys who have no one to lead them. Every man for themselves. Burke makes this team run so much smoother and organized. I just can't get past that.

All they are doing is writing speculation. So don't confuse their speculation with something that is really going to happen. We all have been expecting something like this to happen. Whether it does or not is another thing. What's being said there is nothing different from what is said every day here.

They are speculating. Not reporting.

Yeah, on their source, the "sportscity" article, the rumor is randomly thrown in at the end of the article. Disappointing.

He's written three pieces on Afflalo/Bledsoe dating back to May 29th, all based on Chad Ford's report that the deal was actually proposed in May and that Clippers are choosing between Granger and Afflalo. I'm not sure where the new info that he'd be moved on Thursday came from.

I'll stay cautiously optimistic then. This seems like a good deal for us as written, so I won't get my hopes up too much.

The bolded combo is a major problem. If we do not draft, sign or trade for a SG I think you have to start Lamb at SG (assuming he has confidence in his shot back).

I agree, but we're not out to win many games next season, right? I'm assuming the goal next season will still be to get the young players as much playing time as possible to develop their games. We suck one more year and solve that back court problem.

Rimor roundup Monday:

1) The Nets have proposed a trade involving Marshon Brooks and a guard from the Timberwolves. Still being discussed.

2) The Magic have done the most research on Nerlens Noel

3) The Celtics are also trying to trade longtime franchise player Paul Pierce for a first round pick.

4) Wizards and Bulls discussed Deng for #3 trade

5) Utah might let Jefferson walk

There are concerns about his frame and the ability to put on weight and they're legit concerns. The dude gets pushed around alot, and he's a putrid offensive player. He can't back people down at the college level and he has no jumper shot, (although it's obvious that he's working on it.) He should not try to score in the NBA unless it's put backs and thats without taking into consideration FT's.

At the same time his defensive abilities are undeniable and one could say one in a lifetime so does that alone make him BPA? He has to be the most difficult to figure out.

whoa. Who has said Noel has "once in a lifetime" defensive skills? I know he can block shots, and has decent skills. Anthony Davis was supposed to be better defensively than Noel and he didnt look like the second coming in the NBA playing PF. 6'10, 220 and he was under 2 blocks a game.

He averaged close to 7 Blocks + Steals per game.....

That rumor sounds like one of those dudes that wants to be the one that reported it first before it happened so he threw something to the wall hoping it sticks

Rob Hennigan said on the radio a couple months ago that he could see Harkless playing shooting guard long term.

Draft McLemore:
Bledsoe/McLemore/Harkless/Harris/Vucevic

Same applies to Oladipo.

Draft Noel:
Bledsoe/Harkless/Harris/Noel/Vucevic

The line up with Noel, when healthy, has the most potential. Allows Harris to play at his natural SF position.

Bledsoe/Nelson
Harkless/Lamb
Harris/Butler
Davis/Nicholson/Noel
Vucevic/O'Quinn

I see Davis starting there to start the year and then getting traded at the deadline. Then Noel would start.

so people would actually want to move forward with Bledsoe as our point guard? seriously? this dude is not a point guard and doesn't know how to run a team or make anyone better. Yeah he's mini lebron so lets hand him the keys to the team, naw man i'd rather get one of those points from the 2014 draft. Give me a harrison or a kasey hill or a Marcus Smart. You know what Bledsoe can be an asset at the deadline to maybe get a pick so maybe it's not that bad.

Steve Kyler ‏@stevekylerNBA 1m

Magic's pursuit of Eric Bledsoe continues, reports of a draft day deal sending Bledsoe & Caron Butler to Magic for Aaron Afflao has legs.

I like a 1-year tandem with Jameer tryout and see how it goes with Bledsoe. If this trade happens, I expect Afflalo and Moore to be moved, reunite Doc and Moore and give them their backup PG. Maybe we get their late pick, dunno.

Magic have been agressive in looking at trades in addition to draft prospects. Bledsoe package could be part of bigger deal.

I heard a tiny whisper that it involved Utah, just saying, no sources, just a tiny whisper.

He won the Curt Gowdy award from the hall of fame, you can't get more legit than that. People would rather knock down stuff than look at the source.

Bledsoe will help us and at minimum is a good asset, I wouldn't put a lable l on him yet. I still would love to see us end up with a Marcus Smart type player at the point guard spot for the long term.

After a bunch of talking we pick best available at 2 in the first and a project at 51. I think That tall skinny guy is a Magic man...and he's gonna prove y'all wrong. Or break literally in 2. :o Dude is a bit on the raily side.
