Are we going to work out Ricky Ledo?

he's not on the list they released for today and I don't remember him coming in earlier. I sure don't want him at 23 and he'll probably go before 53. perhaps if Cleveland sent us both the 31 and 33 in a deal, you could take a flyer on him expecting a year in the D-League.

Re: Upcoming NBA Draft Workouts
Ledo sounds like a Lance type project to the degree that you will probably spend two years on him before he can hit the floor.
I think you can have one guy like that (still learning to play with others, immature emotionally, probably coming from a bad backround, and more) on your roster at a time. We still have Lance.

I'd be happy to take Ledo in the 2nd.

can't say I'd be happy but I would't be angry if it happened. I'd rather trade the 23rd for Jimmer than take Ledo in the first. wouldn't it be the ultimate irony if Lance mentored Ledo?

Re: Upcoming NBA Draft Workouts
From my understanding, Watford did not participate in Portsmouth or Chicago (one by choice, one not invited if I remember correctly.) The thought is that has had an impact on his appearances in mocks. Perhaps that could even creep into in his chances to be drafted. I'm not totally sold on that but regardless, he has scheduled/participated in 15 workouts and presumably more now. That's half the league with some level of interest in drafting him.

Yeah, me too. Ultimately, Ledo is likely a 25-30 kind of guy. I'm just not sure if we are the right team to take the time to mold him, especially when he'd be in "competition" with Lance.
