We want quality, not quantity. What we get with the #2 would be easily the best piece in the trade, so its a definite no from me.

I can't see big difference between #2 and #9, so if min is ready to give that much to move up, lets obliged and get the goods

Cj might be there at #9 or even trey, someone is gonna fall

Like ive said before, 4 quarters dont make a dollar in this league...

because trading down from 2 to 9 in this draft is fairly significant. and it is contingent on oladipo being available

I dont think CLE would draft Oladipo #1, I cant see it personally. If he's there at #2, I'd see what we could milk from the Timberwolves.

#2 and Davis for Williams, #9, #26, Shved?

I think if we're moving back the Magic should try to include Shved. We come out of this draft with the SG we need, especially if we trade for Bledsoe, and the picks. I'm very meh about Derrick Williams though.

who do the Blazers want if they can get #1?? Oladipo, Noel or Len?

and what are they able to give up in return? #10/Wes Matthews/Leonard/absorb a contract? if that.

LAC: Afflalo
POR: BBD + #2 (Oladipo/Noel)
UTA: Bledsoe
ORL: A.Burks + #10 + #14 + #21

we get more picks, and offload 2 long term salaries.

in that scenario, wouldn't mind KCP at #9, not sure he'll be there.

If you cant see the diff between #2 and #9 id encourage you to scout the prospects a bit more. Thats the difference between a Noel and a Zeller, which to me is huge.

Lolll noel might be the n'est oden situ mess talent and zeller might be a decent player, i see what u mean by scouting

The only thing I disagree with us doing is the trade our #2 and end up with like 3-4 1st round picks like all of you guys are predicting. There is no way Henny wants 4-5 rookies on our squad this year. I could see us MAYBE reaching and ending up with 2 1st round picks but saying we'd like #10, #14, #21, #51 is just craziness. I don't see Henny going that route at all.

Anyone agree on me with this? Seems like all I see is lets trade #2 for 2 picks, then those 2 picks for 4 picks, then those 4 picks for 8 picks lol

just my 2 cents

I think if cavs take noel there is a good possibility we would trade down, if minny is that high on dapio we could flip #2 for #9 + #26. we could even expand the trade bye them adding in d Williams + some other contract for Baby if they are seriously looking for a vet big.
Now combing that with what Katz tweeted about us have zeller in yesterday I feel he would be available at 9 correct? or McCullum with #9.

Add the fact that we still have that Bledsoe rumor we could walk away with on draft night

Bledsoe/Noel

Bledsoe/#2 (if we do keep #2)

Bledsoe/#9,#26 and possibly Derrick Williams

regardless Thursday will be FUN

Lol i was more referring to the fact that everyone seems to be so eager to have multiple mid-late first rounders instead of one high lottery pick.

Imo, Noel and Oladipo are a level above the rest of the prospects in this draft.

When you consider that Noel has the speed to defend small forwards, it changes how you think of him. We dont need him to bulk up. He can be our Kevin Garnett on defence.

I think if we trade down, it won't be until the 9th pick is on the clock, to make sure the guy we want is still available.
we select Oladipo, and then Minn takes who we want if he is there. KCP hopefully.

It's Kyler so take it with a grain of salt:

Bledsoe And The Magic: The L.A. Clippers seem to have done a good job outing the Orlando Magic and their pursuit of Eric Bledsoe. Sources say the Clippers are making sure there isn’t a better offer out there for Bledsoe than the package that Orlando is said to be constructing. As of last night, it seemed the Magic’s deal was centered around Arron Afflalo and possibly last year’s first-round selection Andrew Nicholson. There was talk that a protected 2015 first-round pick would be included, basically replacing the draft asset the Clippers had to surrender to get Doc Rivers out of Boston. The Magic would in return get Bledsoe and forward Caron Butler. The deal is far from done, according to sources, as both the Clippers and the Magic are exploring other options, but some of the players involved in the deal believe it may happen on draft night, assuming the Clippers can’t find a better deal.

I really am not too keen on giving up Nicholson. If we do I hope we're getting back some draftees or other young talent from somewhere.

I hope the clippers get stiffed for trying to be so patient and expect to get some godlike offer for a guy who is a gamble at the end of the day. He is obviously a pretty safe gamble but you KNOW what AA will provide.

Also, adding in a 2015 first round pick ON TOP of Nicholson is highway robbery. Unless Butlers expiring is more valuable than I'm thinking it is.

LOL Kyler. I want Bledsoe but there is no chance in hell I'd trade Afflalo, Nicholson, and a first for him and Butler. Thankfully I have total faith in Hennigan that he would never do a deal that bad. I honestly wouldn't want to give up more than than Afflalo and Moore. I might feel a little bit better about dealing Nicholson if the Magic could get like a 2nd round pick back. Of course if the Magic draft Noel then Nicholson becomes a little more expendable, even though I still want him. But Afflalo, Nicholson, andddddd a first? Yeah, no freaking way. I'd rather just hold on to Afflalo until someone else wants him, stick with Jameer, and then pick a point guard next year.

I would play a wait and see approach before judging this iteration of the trade. At first glance it appears to be too much for Bledsoe. But I'd patiently wait and see what Henny could flip Butler for on draft night or at the deadline. In no circumstance do I see Butler lasting the year in Orlando
