Ring the Alarm...

...because Jeff Weaver starts Saturday :o  :banghead: :noway:   . Sigh. So, any predictions on how many innings he lasts? I'm guessing 3.

Aw, heck. He'll be pitching in baseball's most favorable park for pitchers, against a team in the weaker league, which has had below-average offensive production so far this season. I think this is the game he takes a giant leap forward: 4.1 IP, 4 ER, 7 H, 2 K, 5 BB. His game of the year.

...and he's back in the league where he had success last year, and there's no DH. I predict something along the lines of what Hippie's suggesting...and I think it will be enough to fool management into giving Weaver two more starts, which he will have massive problems with.

Ah, I forgot that we are going into the national league...Weaver does stand a chance then. Yay for false hope...I guess.

Hell, if Weaver gets into the 5th inning, I'll be completely shocked.
