Before you all jump down my throats....remember he is a proven winner, and probably an upgrade over Thompson. I say call up Colorado and see what they want for him.

What is a proven winner? What is that even supposed to mean?

If we are going to pick up somebody, it's going to be somebody who is a productive hitter. Finley isn't that anymore.

I wish we had more proven winners like Tony Womack and Carl Pavano.

A proven winner is someone who has come up big throughout a long big league career. Yikes Tony Womack scares me, as does the thought of Pavano

i'm an idiot...i didn't realize he was 42, and thought he had that year he had a few years ago last yr.

Tony Womack came up big in the 2001 World Series, do you want him too? Same thing with Pavano in the 2003 World Series.

yea he used to make some nice catches out in centerfield but that was like a decade ago
