Not sure Im buying it.

Thank God the TWolves turned it down, if true...

Not sure what to think, Love and Kyrie would be great, but would #9 (I think that is where they pick, too lazy to look up) be coming back? In effect Minny would get 3 starters, whether it would be Tristan or making room for Williams at the 4. So many rumors this year its hard to keep track.

Check this out:

Sixers trade Evan Turner, and #11 pick

Cavs trade Dion Waiters, and #19 pick

Sixers get Dion Waiters, and #19 pick

Cavs get Evan Turner, and #11 pick

For the Cavs this gives them flexibility with their team and this draft. It will allow them to take Ben McLemore with the first pick and I think he's the better fit next to Irving than Waiters. Evan Turner can play the small forward position and he'll have a year to earn a long term contract from you guys. He hasn't been great in Philly but he hasn't been horrible either. He could use a change. You can then use the #11 pick on a big...Zeller, Gobert, Dieng, Adams, Olynyk..There will be a bunch available, and it is possible that one of the bigger names like Muhammed are there as well.

For the Sixers we get the scoring guard that we need to compliment Jrue Holiday. We desperately need someone who can score the basketball. We kinda liked Waiters last year anyway going into the 2012 draft so it would be nice to get him in Philly. Since we are in a rebuilding mode right now the #19 selection can be used on a project player for us, or possibly the best big available in that area.

In a way we both are helping eachother out. Cavs get a small forward who is just three years removed from being the #2 pick in the draft and they also get the #11 selection. Turner is also in a contract year so he comes off the books if you desire him to do so after 2014. This also allows you guys to take Ben Mclemore with a clear conscience. Thoughts?

Change 19 to 33
And you're close to the value CLE would demand to consider it.

Evan has only one year left on his rookie deal and he's much more expensive than Waiters. Add in that he's been very disappointing this far, and that he's expiring, and he holds little value in a deal.

I dont like these deals where we are throwing away our whole roster and a draft pick for love or LMA.

Anyone know how much truth there are to these rumors?

The wolves forum thread on Love is hilarious. One guy thinks Williams is better than Thompson.

Wolves fan. here, Wolves would never trade Love for #1, Waiters and Thompson. Trading Love at all would be stupid, Wolves arent trying to trade their superstar for some average to above average players, it's playoffs now.

Also, why is it laughable to think that Williams is better than Thompson? What's there to say he's not?

I think the first paragraph is perfectly valid.

As for the second paragraph, we've seen them both play. That's what's to say he's not - their performance.

Bulls have Thomas Robinson to Cleveland for #19 on the table?

Intresting deal, and from a potential perspective I have to think that's pretty nice value for the Cavaliers.

I would not hesitate to trade #19 for T-Rob. I hope the Cavs make that trade.

I don't think love should be traded period.

What's there to say that Williams is better than Thompson, besides your word, of course.

I believe that Derrick Williams has more promise than Thompson coming into this year. I think he has more ability to work with than Thompson.

Well at least youre not trying to pass your opinion for fact. Glad to see you have that going for you, even if the content I definitely dont agree with.

I would be happy to trade 19 for TRob, very happy to move Miles for 22, and both 2nds for Marion and 13. I really hope all these rumors are true. I would think 22 would be moved in a separate deal, possibly with 13 to move up further.
Its really exciting to be a Cavs fan right now, so many rumors/possibilities out there.

Yes, I really dislike when people voice what they say as fact. No it is your opinion. I always say that.

Anyway, I think if one of these players would become a good player in the NBA it would be Williams, and I think Williams will keep improving this year. Williams does have the potential to become a dynamic offensive player, whether that will happen is unknown to me. I wont discuss defense, because Thompson has him there.

Look in the mirror and you'll see yourself as someone who needs to grow up. If you post crap, you can expect to get at least that amount back.

I hope the Wolves have a good pick at number 9.

The value doesnt seem bad, but I was thinking about the fit and got to wondering if it was worth it. Think about it:

PF: Thompson/Zeller
C: Varejao/Noel or Len

Obviously Zeller will get minutes at C and Varejao will get minutes at PF, but it will be hard to find a ton more minutes for a 5th big. Now granted, Robinson could bump Zeller down a spot, and if we take Noel then he wont be playing for several months, but the main question still stands. Is giving up the 19th pick worth it for what effects to a 5th big one way or the other?

I dont know, maybe it is, especially in this draft, but I know we have some large holes elsewhere. Depending on what other moves we make, specifically the Marion plus the 13th pick trade, could definitely have an impact on it though. I would be far more willing to give up that pick if we were able to pull that trade off.

Irving/?/?
Waiters/Ellington/Miles
Marion/Gee/Karasev
Thompson/Zeller/Robinson
Varejao/Noel/?

Something to consider at least.
