I love how Thole closes his eyes as he catches the ball.

I also think the Jays should strongly consider closing the dome during his starts.

didn't know the mets had a retractable roof last year.

He's pitched much better indoors over the last few years.

Wish I didn't have to work so I could have watched this game. Great to hear Dickey pitched a great game - hopefully more to come. We need him to start being more consistent

Still over .500 - can't complain, we are in great shape heading into Boston. This next series is so critical for us. We need at least 2

Hit 80. Average was 76.75, which is much closer to where he was at last season: http://www.brooksbaseball.net/pfxVB/pfx ... _tbamlb_1/

Great to see Dicky have a good game. If he's lights out for the remainder of the season, and Reyes is back, that really helps our chances. Obviously that is a big "if", but it's a good start.

Didnt watch the game but the numbers were beautiful for Dickey

In his interview on the SVP show he said he was starting to get his mojo back - I guess he was right

Lind finally has enough plate appearances to qualify for the batting title. Unfortunately he's come down to earth the past few games. Still, at .322, 4th in the AL.

Miggy is hitting a ridiculous .368

Right after I say he's cooled off, I realize he hit a HR this game. Wish I could have seen the game. Reyes returns and Dickey dominates. Afternoon games, sigh...

so colby rasmus, despite the gaudy K totals, is quietly on pace for the best season of his career. 2.3 fWAR through 72 games. i don't think he'll ever hit for a real high avg, but he's put up a wicked ISO at .226 (2nd best among all qualified CF'ers, he's probably closer to .200 though which i'll still take any day) plus an OPS consistently flirting with .800, and then throw in some amazing defense, and it looks like colby could be a long-term fixture in centre

Bautista outplays his contract by more than $70 million over the next four seasons (2013-2016).

Colby is a top 10 CF in the game. His defence and baserunning ability have really impressed me this year. Check out this article on the parallels to his 2010 season(his best).
