Man anyone know why Giannis wants to come over now? Doubt he is on our radar, but didn't he say he wants to get stronger in Europe and more experienced in a better league IN EUROPE?

Seems Cody is picking up steam for a top 5 pick.

could be. Certainly, if the combine numbers mean anything to GM's he'd have upward momentum, especially if it's true he has been lights-out in his perimeter shooting in workouts

I'm no draft expert at all, but I'd wonder if all it would take is some top-5 team making a surprise selection to completely bollix the order for the entire lottery. Seems like there's that much volatility

should be fun to watch

chad ford's newest mock draft has us taking Adams if CJ McC and KCP are gone. HE says it is betweens Adams Zeller and Burke. I doubt Zeller is there now.

1.) Noel-------------Cle
2.) Oladipo---------Orl
3.) Porter----------Was
4.) Len--------------Cha
5.) Mclemore-----Phx
6.) Zeller-----------NOP
7.) Cj Mcc---------Sac
8.)MCW-------------Det
9.) Pope-----------Minny
10.) ??--------------PDX

I think our big board looks something like... Throw in Noel/Len maybe in the top. They didnt get to evaluate either one much though

Oladipo
McCollum
Pope
Zeller
Adams

IMO I don't see any of those falling to us except for Adams.

Adrian Wojnarowski @WojYahooNBA 2 minutes ago

Becoming harder to map a scenario where UNLV's Anthony Bennett doesn't slide on board. He could leave Portland with choice at No. 10.

please god no.

Bennett is really intriguing. I'd take my chances. That kid has a scorers mentality and a scorers skills. At #1 he's high risk, high reward. At #10 he's very palatable.

Reminds me to much of Derrick Williams. 2 risky player types combo guards and Tweener forwards.

Bennett was one of the guys I suggested may slide pretty hard this year.

That said, I really don't want him. I don't know how many times forward tweeners have to bust in the NBA before teams finally realize they don't work in the pros. Seriously, what was the last time a forward tweener had success in the NBA? Stromile Swift, Marvin Williams, Mike Beasley, Derrick Williams, etc. Bust, bust, bust, bust.

Guys I want gone before 10 because I have little interest in.....

Shabazz
KCP
Bennett
MCW
Burke
Adams

I really hope all or most of those guys are gone at 10 because that'd leave us with some great options

Earlier today ESPN said Cleveland was considering him at #1. Crazy draft. There really is no telling who will be there at #10.

Carmelo Anthony. Check out his per 36 college stats and compare them Bennett. Almost exactly the same. Bennett is earily similar to Melo in measurements as well. Style of play, repertoire oof moves, strengths, weaknesses. Everything. Very similar players

Like you say, the bust potential is very high for Bennett but I counter that the point is the same for every player in this draft. Crazy draft!
