We get it man, Noah is great. But that doesn't mean I wouldn't flip him for a 2nd option on offense if the opprotunity presented itself.

He is not without flaw...

Then you would have a hole at the 5 spot, and not enough rebounding, shotblocking, help defending to give Miami problems.

Whatever. You can't expect to get Aldridge without trading any of those guys too. Just wouldn't work.

Really dude?

Anyone listening to the Score? My friend said something about them mentioning a possibility of Butler, Deng, and our Charlotte pick for LA. There's no possible way that can be true

No, we don't have 4 untouchables. Maybe Gibson/Butler/Cha Pick/1sts/etc. I would be totally fine including Mirotic, but he has much higher value to us than them.

Then the problem becomes:

1. Why doesn't the third team just deal their assets for Aldridge?
2. Is getting Deng enough for the third team to help the Bulls?

This is partly why three-team deals are much more difficult to do. Aldridge doesn't have basement value. So what if he's not happy in Portland. Carmelo wasn't happy in New York and Deron wasn't happy in Utah. Both were traded for a pretty good haul of players in return. Aldridge might not be a Carmelo or Deron, but he is a pretty good player in his own right and is on a streak of three straight 20+ PER, 20+PPG seasons.

You don't have to trade the world for him, but Taj and garbage isn't getting it done.

I totally agree in the end Aldridge > Noah I love his heart and personality but at the end of the day you gotta score buckets against Miami. Rose and Aldridge is too good to pass up. Noah can be replaced.

You needn't worry - the Bulls aren't parting with Noah for LMA. At best its a lateral move, and at worst it destroys your team and leaves a gaping hole at the 5.

I didnt even realize how much the team would be pissed. LMA is good, but hes not incredibly overshadowing Noah in terms of value/impact. They're on par with one another. A lateral move/marginal upgrade is not worth defacing your franchise and disrupting their chemistry. Plus I could not imagine Thibs giving this trade the "okay"

No one cares what Tom Thibodeau wants, it's all about what D-Rose wants. He want a shooting power-forward.

Exactly, Ralph Exactly. I think and I hate to throw Dwight into the mix but the Lakers could do a sign and trade for Deng and or Bozer so they don't loose him for nothing.

Yup! I agree as then we use Deng for a Center and a SG. I love Noah, but this team as is, needs help. It's about winning a championship and everyone but Rose should be available!

Adrian Wojnarowski @WojYahooNBA
Celtics, Nets couldn't potentially complete deal 'til moratorium ends July 10, source says. Teams need Pierce's 13-14 salary to make it work

So maybe this gives us hope that we can nudge our way in and get a deal done?

By who? Noah is one of the top rim protectors in the league. He can switch on pick and rolls and effectively defend Lebron and Wade. What other center can do that?

Yeah.. Not giving up Joakim. Why on earth should we do that when LMA wants out? No reason to pay 90 cent on the dollar when you only have to pay 50.

Am I in Bizarro world? Noah gets the ball at the top of the key because we run the offense through him - because he is a fantastic passer that can read the floor as well as any big man in the game.

What the hell is happening here?
