Oh Christ. You have got to be kidding me.

Am I getting punked? Wheres Ashton?

Noah is better yes...but Gortat provides defense, rebounding, rim protector, an he's cheaper an a healthier player. Fact is, you don't Aldridge type players, that's where you get the big improvement.

I don't want to trade Noah but if it really comes down to it....I would. Plus deng an boozer could be goners next year leaving you with a ton of cap room to find your replacement for Noah.

I totally agree in the end Aldridge > Noah I love his heart and personality but at the end of the day you gotta score buckets against Miami. Rose and Aldridge is too good to pass up. Noah can be replaced.

By who? Noah is one of the top rim protectors in the league. He can switch on pick and rolls and effectively defend Lebron and Wade. What other center can do that?

Whatever. You can't expect to get Aldridge without trading any of those guys too. Just wouldn't work.

Really dude?

I expect Portland to always overvalue their players, over pay them, and continue this ride on constant rebuilding. This is LaMarcus Aldridge we talking about. Not Rose, Lebron, Paul, Dwight, or Durant.

There are not that many good bigs in the league right now that's why fans overvalue these type of players.

If the Bulls do, you would be complaining to much to ever hear it.

NBA fan logic we need to trade one of two best players because (Player X) one needs to shine more.

You know what. If Portland wanted Butler + Taj + Picks.

I would do it.
Rose
SG
Deng
Aldridge
Noah

would be good enough for me.

We get it man, Noah is great. But that doesn't mean I wouldn't flip him for a 2nd option on offense if the opprotunity presented itself.

He is not without flaw...

I'd say something here, but I'm close to getting suspended.

Yes, let's overrate LMA to underrate Noah. I get why people feel the need to go after LMA, but yes, it is a lateral move. You lose the rebounding, defense, and passing of Noah, for a guy who is clearly an inefficient scorer, and doesn't use his size as well as he should. We've all watched Deng chuck inefficient long 2s, LMA just brings more of that. It's not as if he's bad in the post either, he's actually pretty good, but he wastes too much of his time camped out on top.

Seriously, Marcin Gortat is a replacement for Noah now.

I see fans overrate their players but Bulls players get underrated by their own fans.

That's just a guess. He's unproven at the nba level. Why give up something proven for something that uncertain?

So maybe this gives us hope that we can nudge our way in and get a deal done?

I believe you have to give Portland at least one of those in order for them to bite (excluding Rose). Noah I'm back and forth on. His energy and defense are great but at the end of the day it doesn't win championships...buckets do.

Noah's heart is unarguable. His health is more of a question and Blazer fans/management obviously have a history with injured centers and would be wary. Noah has only played more than 66 games twice in his six year career and has admitted foot issues. He is obviously a tremendous defensive presence, a great rebounder and a 'heart and soul' type of player but his injury history would raise a bit of a red flag. LaMarcus by contrast has only played less than 74 games twice in his seven year career.

Bulls have talked to multiple teams, so other convos could be on the backburner, but told preference are talks with Houston and Portland.

Bulls could offer Greg Monroe a maximum contract next year and see if Detroit really wants to match it....there's a center.

Seemed more like sarcasm on his part. Of course, some big asset(s) will have to go the other way. I'd say Rose, Noah, and Jimmy should be kept, but who knows.
