There has to be more coming from Minny to do that trade. We lose Landry, Barnes and get Love, with the chance we also lose Jack. How does that make us better?

I don't have any clue what is going on with Green, but I would find Green and Lee for Love and Shved a much better deal.

The problem for the Warriors is that they are going to increase their cap with either trade and they need. No Landry, Green and possible Jack off the bench? I trust the front office to make the right decisions, but I think trade or through the draft is the only way the Warriors can remain the same depth wise.

Draymond's tweet has nothing to do with being traded. Still pisses me off that he threw that out there without clarification, knowing it was the day before the draft.

Lee is our second best player. I think sacrificing a little depth is worth swapping him out for someone better/younger. The Warriors could still re-sign jack and use the MLE on a player like Landry.

Who knows, Alexey Shved could be a great fit next to Curry.

Do the 3 pt stats include playoffs? Are they from only the regular season?

Maybe completely expendable was too strong of a statement, but you cannot justify Lee getting paid 15 mil. Yes he is a useful weapon, but the defense suffers when he's in and he's not really a plus rebounder. It would do wonders for our offense if he started making 3's.

Dude...I would piss myself. We get a 6'6 PG to play alongside Curry when he wants to go off-ball and we get a top 20ish player with a mean streak on the boards, something I think lee has gotten worse and worse at.

I'd make that trade. Spend the money to bring back Jack. It'd be nice of the Wolves to let us keep Barnes for Dray so we could offer Bogues + Falcon for Dwight.

Make it Love/Scbmed for Lee/Thompson and I'd probably be OK. I don't want a hole @ SF next season which is what it would leave us with if Barnes were traded (now that we have a solid player at the position in Barnes). Keep in minde that probably the toughest position in the league to defend is now SF with the likes of Lebron, Durant and Carmelo (who I know qre now playing a lot of stretch 4.

But in this "new NBA" you need a SF who can stretch to keep up with those guys as they are too quick and agile for most natural PFs. Thompson would bre a lot easier for us to replace imo especially if we manage to hold onto Jack.

I'd want Love extended before making that deal. his injury issues are also a bit concerning.

Honestly we had a good run...I'd really hate to break the 1-2-3 punch we have now up.

Also I feel like Love wants to be a Laker.

I'm fine with sitting tight and making minor adjustments. If we can re-sign one of Jack or Landry, and with Rush coming back and $20 million leaving the books at the end of next year, I'm feeling pretty good.

Looks like we also took on Malcolm Lee from the TWovles in that trade of picks. He's an expiring who'll be getting 884K next season (Warriors have a QO the following season for approx. 1.1M which they do not have to exercise).
