If the Suns don't acquire another 1st round in the draft, would you be be disappointed?
I sure as hell would be because I think Gortat needs to be traded asap instead of waiting til trade deadline when he will have even less value. I think Gortat could easily net a lottery pick in this draft and the Suns should take advantage of that and use it on someone who can help this team in the long run.
I won't be mad because I trust in McDonough to make the right choice but it would still disappoint me...

Re: Would you be disappointed if PHX doesn't acquire another
It depends. If we get McLemore or Oladipo, I wouldn't feel the need to get another one so much. Ultimately, I want us to come away from this draft with a good sg. If they are not there at 5, I wouldn't mind trading down.
Personally, if it means trading away a pretty good asset, I am not sure I think we should trade for another pick. I'd probably rather have Minnesota's pick next year, than the 13th this year, but I'd probably be fine either way.
I think we can get more for Gortat (or even Dudley if we trade him) during the season when teams have injuries, realize more what their needs are, and don't feel they can still address them in the draft or free agency.
Ultimately I'm just not terribly high on anyone in this draft in the low lottery, especially if we already have taken a sg.
Now if we were able to just buy a pick outright for cash, I'm all for it, but I don't know if I'd give up a pretty good asset, because this draft really is pretty weak, especially after the first half of the lottery, and I think Gortat, Dudley and the Minnesota pick are more valuable to hang onto.
I'm sure next year we will be very happy to have kept that Minnesota pick, if we hang onto it. Our last four picks near the end of the lottery were Clark, Lopez, Morris and Marshall and this draft, by most all accounts is worse. Sure there will be a couple of good players to get drafted outside of the top 10, but at that point it's kind of a crap shoot.

Hope we don't stand pat and try to obtain new young talent. One lotto pick more for Steven Adams would be great IMO.

A's over Royals. Lester and experience will prove that he's worth the trade.
Tigers winning it all. Tigers are, imo, peaking at the right time.

That would actually be really cool cause we can run with a lineup of
Dragic
Marshall
Bledsoe
Garrett
Goodwin
It would throw teams off and we would score at will due to the speed and quickness of that lineup.

I voted no before the draft but I actually am a bit disappointed. Was hoping for some more trades.
