KG doesn't really need the ball anymore. I think that guy would be happy getting 5 shots a game, so long as his team was winning. As for Pierce - well, everyone thought he was going to have a tough time giving up shots when KG/Ray arrived, and he had no problem doing so. He probably won't mind deferring to Williams and Joe Johnson, so long as he gets to collect all of his $15 million and they're still winning games.

As for the deal - I don't mind it, so long as all of the picks are unprotected. Wallace's deal sucks, but Ainge will probably use it as an expiring anyways. Capspace is kinda overrated if you're Boston, seeing as how no one really wants to play in the cold. Best thing to do is use big expiring deals to package with prospects/picks to trade for stars, much like the Celtics did with Szczerbiak and Ratliff.

If the Nets agree to take Terry or Lee......I could see this deal happening. Makes the Celtics really bad for 2014, which is what Ainge wants anyhow.

Would be a great deal for the Nets. Doesn't change much for the Knicks....with or without this deal the Knicks have no shot at taking the east. All this deal does is ensure the Knicks going from 4th to 5th. Not really a big deal to me.

I'm pretty sure they don't get any of them until 2016. That's not gonna help Ainge rebuild anything.

KG probably only has 1 year left, he was thinking about retirement this year so how many more years do u rly think he's going to go play? Pierce I can see playing good for 2 years so this guy would be a good inclusion for the Nets. Honestly I like this trade for both teams the more I think about it.

This isn't gona happen.. Just like every other rumor out there. Ainge isn't doing anything in regards of taking on 30mil on Wallace's deal.

3 first rounders from a contender at that point? Not worth a lot. Thats like the Heat offering 3 first rounders for a team's best player, it won't happen.

Cant see Boston agreeing to this.

Even just using the picks, if I recall correctly the 2014 and 15 nets picks are in the Hawks hands, so the Celtics would have to wait even longer just to get the first pick.

The Nets dont lose in this at all.

But none of this happens until next month.

You mean the 2011-2012 season? The season where lopez only played 5 games and Shelden Williams was the starter for the rest? Or do you mean the 2010-2011 season where we acquired Deron in late february and he only played 12 games with the team when the team was already out of contention?
