throw in the bobcats pick if needed.

why not just keep Lopez? we dont need to be Portland's lackeys to get them a younger player of equal if not better value.

Because we have a good defensive minded center on a good contract? :dontknow:

The Bulls history says that they will not trade away all assets for LMA. The new GM might be different but we know the previous GMs were asking for too many assets and no trades happened.
We also know they are desperate for a Center and have been trying for a few years with FA/drafting and have never found one. That 's a lesson for the Bulls not to give away Noah because the Blazers have failed to get Asik, Hibbert and are looking for one.

The only thing going for Portland is they have a rich owner who will not mind paying high taxes compared to a similar size market.

Yes, thats why 6'8" JJ Hickson was playing/defending C for Portland last season.

Guess the offers weren't quite what Portland were hoping for. If they think they are going to get Blake for LMA... Well...

Screw Portland for thinking they can bend people over for a 2-Year disgruntled player, and lol at any team wanting to sell the farm for 2 years worth of it

Interesting but idk man lol. And wouldnt have KG be kinda redundant? Im sure he wouldnt have a problem coming off the bench, but I know hes said he doesnt want to play C...just like LA

He definitely would be coming off the bench and hopefully be okay being used on however Thibs needs him.

Are there any picks going out or is this an all player based trade?

Yeah, I think Boston and Portland would want picks. Chicago could give up the #20 or #49 to Portland and Atlanta would give one of their stockpiled picks like #17 to Boston.

However there is not a chance we accept a trade where Deng or Gibson are supposed to be the big piece coming back. LMA is here for 2 more years, it's not like he's about to expire.

I think the only trade that happens is if you guys trade Noah for LMA. It's not as cool to dream about but we've been offered good offers from Cleveland, supposedly rumors about Blake for LMA being talked about and maybe Kevin Love(we'd have to add obviously). It's not like Chicago are the only team offering something and you're going to have beat out those other offers.

Mind boggling how a post from an actual Blazers fan goes completely untouched....

Like I've been saying all along though, the deal has to look sweet on both sides. I just don't see it sweet without Jimmy or Mirotic in there.

No. I'd rather have the guy who doesn't rely on his athleticism(which will ultimately decline when he gets older) and back to basket post-game.
