Bledsoe

Post#1 » by Buttastix » Thu Jun 27, 2013 9:01 pm

Real GM is tweeting that we are one of many teams interested in Bledsoe. Would you give up Knight/Stucky for him?

No. Not both. Preferably Stuckey. I see Bledsoe as another Darren Collison. What happened to him on the Pacers? Oh yeah he got traded. I think Bledsoe is good for the same reason Collison was. Paul. Bledso is overrated. Stuckey for Bledsoe and nothing more.

Not Knight, I find Bledsoe to be incredibly overrated. I would love for Joe D to get over his combo guard fetish

And why exactly would LAC want Stuckey for?

Not the biggest fan of Bledsoe. Plays big(vertical) but just seems much smaller than 6'1

I'm assuming the Clippers would want number 8 or Monroe. I can't see Knight being of interest since he plays the same spot as Bledsoe and Paul. Adding Monroe for them would allow them to move Jordan much easier. I also think since the rumor of the Clips wanting Affallo, Harkness, and a future pick for Bledsoe makes me think the price is super high. I'd just stay clear at this point.

I think that's a good way of putting it. Sometimes they end up succeeding but more often than not they're way over-valued by the teams acquiring them to start.

The fact that we're interested in Bledsoe says a lot about Dumars' confidence in Knight. Thank god.

I think the Clips will be selling high, more than what Bledsoe will probably be worth.

Why don't we just take Kabongo or Goodwin or one of the many quick PGs available in the 2nd?

I like his athleticism, play making, and defense. Guy is a block machine for his size!

This. He's very overrated, I would trade Stuckey for him but definitely not Knight or Knight/Stuckey.

Yeah no knight but I'd part with Singler too. He'd make a great 3rd guard...not the star people think imo.

I have to admit that I'm really intrigued by this guy. He did well when forced to start last year. Backing up Paul may have helped this guy long term much like backing up Brandon helped Chauncy. Bledsoe is a guy with a lot of untapped potential while not exactly being over his head in the short term either. He's another two way player.

If Pistons do give up on Knight, Bledsoe might be the best risk/reward option to gamble on.

Why do we think the Clippers are interested in Knight?

They see Bledsoe as a chip to get them someone who can start for them and therefor do more than Bledsoe could. Even if they actually liked Knight, why would they make this deal?
