So they gain salary in 2015-16 with Wallace. Sure hope he's going elsewhere...

And we dump Terry?

Honestly getting tired of reading about how we can amenesty players who are making too much money. You'd think if the people throwing that word around would also know how it works. It's only been 3 years

If we can dump Terry or Lee, I feel a lot better about this deal.
what western teams are:

a) a contender KG/PP will be willing to go to

and

b) have the salary to match and send back bostons way

and

c) have the picks to include

and

d) have an owner willing to pay the tax

Spurs - Yes
Grizzlies - No, too salary conscious, no assets
Thunder - No, too salary conscious
Clippers - No, per league orders
Rockets - No, not using cap space
Warriors - Yes
Lakers - Probably not, they wouldn't take on the salary
Nuggets - Dark-horse, probably not with brand new front office
Edit - Hell, what happened to this thing. Assuming both are moved together.

A majority of this board was also against the KG trade in 07, so what can you say?

Any extra shot at getting Andrew Wiggins next year in the draft makes this
an ideal trade.

And what if we get No. 3 pick and option is Marcus Smart?

20 percent chance at best next June, we are then assuming we will be worst team in NBA and that wiggins is worth it.

What happens if he isnt as good as we thought.

Yeah. I think it's pretty hilarious how people are banking on the slim chance of getting the No. 1 pick AND banking on Wiggins being the next LeBron when he hasn't even played a single second of college basketball yet.

First of all I'm not banking on anything all I want is some hope with the Celtics. When you start rebuilding you have to have hope draft choices equal hope better than nothing.
