Good Luck!

Post#1 » by spartan7977 » Thu Jun 27, 2013 8:25 pm

Rockets fan here just wanting to wish you guys good luck on tonight's draft. It's important for us too because eventually who you pick will probably get called up to the Rockets. Go for Trey Burke!

HA!

Well with Geoff gone, that Kings-Rockets connection is not what it used to be.

However, if there's still something there, best of luck to you in the draft as well. We'll look forward to swapping picks next season!

I guess Kevin Martin did land you Plug 4 (James Harden) so I can see your enthusiasm.

If that's the case, just be worried who you send out in return, because that last deal didn't look so hot. This time it might be a Tyler Zeller for James Harden swap.

What do you mean not looking so hot? We're not trading Trob because he's bad, we're doing it because the salary lines up. The Artest, Kmart, Trob trades, not to mention you guys signing Chuck Hayes......

Still have to look at that trade 1:1. Kings won that one. I guess Petrie had to show some sort of his old self before he rode off into the sunset. 8-)

If the Kings won the Trob trade then I guess Kwame Brown was the best 1st overall pick ever.

Winning a battle is a battle even if it's just taking out a bunker full of ammo. Pretty much all the pieces the Kings got in that deal played well here and Patterson looked like a potential long term fit at PF. Kings win that battle.

It's really not even an opinion, it is a FACT that the Rockets won that trade. None of the players you guys got would get anything close to Trob in trade. You think because we're trading him again he's bad? that's silly. We're trading him for cap space to go after Dwight. Bill Simmons correctly stated that you guys got the poo poo plater.

You lost the argument when you made reference to Simmons as if he knows something about basketball.

90210 and Shawshank Redemption? Ask Simmons

Anything NBA related? Ask someone else

OK you win, Rox won. As evidenced by how they moved a solid piece on their team in favor of one that they are having a hard time finding a team to take for nothing.

TRob couldn't even get minutes with a roster of Smith, Motiejunas, and Jones.

Thomas Robinson is not a great NBA player. When that happens let me know. Otherwise the Kings won that trade hands down.
