Really not sure what this pick means for the direction of this team.

Honestly thinking that Hammond is very good at recognizing talent but is too nice/weak to stand up to Kohl, who ends up commandeering him and **** it all up. His picks of Harris, Sanders, Henson and now (hopefully) Giannis are basically brilliant, considering where they were chosen.

Say this about Hammond - he definitely has a thing for raw players with perceived high upside potential. He's made that type of pick every year now.

I'm fine with this. The Bucks need to roll the dice, especially in a draft like this. Let's see what this kid can do.

Nick Monroe taking a pic of Paschke interviewing Hammond.

Like the pick a lot. Hopefully this is a sign that they'll let him properly develop and we will stink next year for the Wiggins sweepstakes.

About Giannis, like that he played a lot of point guard and definitely has the Kevin Durant build going on so I like that type of size on the wing.

I'm really hoping we just drafted a Nic Batum clone eventually.

Bill Simmons really called him the Greek Paul George haha. I sure hope so.
RIP Kobe Forever. GOAT 8-24. Long Live Giannis

Keep in mind only one of them currently plays above-average NBA defense.

But yes that is pretty wild.

Hey, swing for the fences, I like it. I think this is the kind of pick we've wanted. Curious what our plan is with him though.

Wouldn't suprise me if he never plays a minute in the NBA. Doubt we will find out for a year or 2. Who knows, he could be a stud too. Boom/bust.

Who wants to guess which guard we overpay for?

After Shabazz got taken 14 I was preparing for the worst. Honestly couldn't be happier with the pick. Going for potential here rather than playing it safe.

Would have assumed Duke would be with us tonight. Being such a great young fan.

Would have thought someone with almost 300 posts in a month would be online during our pick. He must still be at work.

Kind of hope we go after late first and add Ledo too, but I love our length on D right now, and his handles

All I wanted was for the Bucks to go high risk, high reward. This has to be some sort of sign. Giannis Adetokunbo. From Greece. My flight to Athens leaves tomorrow at 11:48. Milwaukee - Philly - Athens. Greece for 7 days, Italy for 9. Looking forward to talking about a completely revamped roster when I get back. Cheers everyone.

Ted Davis ‏@nbated 3m

#Bucksdraft. Next season if Gianni's Antetokounmpo is on a fbreak with Mbah-a-Moute and Ilyasova I might pull a hamstring. GOLD JERRY GOLD!
