I don't think I've heard one positive thing from the media since the Zeller pick. Way to pile it on. I have full faith in this pick. **** you Brick Wrongell

I wish he would say some of this stuff hes been tweeting to Zellers face when he interviews him tomorrow.

you know bonnell is spineless...he is going to talk to him like its all good

no stars to select, so take the good player who could fit alongside a star.

he made plenty of sly comments about MKG through the year, kept sprouting about T Rob for half the season until it became obvious he was struggling

I loathe him more than anything. Just got blue balls when we didn't take Len like he's been wanting all along.

I'm still laughing at Cleveland. Ready for another laugher like Plumlee or something.

Charlotte will regret not drafting Nerlens Noel come 2014-15 season. Cody Zeller is not a horrible pick, but he'll be less of a offensive threat than MKG this upcoming year, and his short wingspan will make him a negative net defender in the NBA. Hopefully, Zeller's jump shot in practice can translate to actual games, but until then I have to believe that this pick will haunt the Charlotte franchise. I wasn't even a fan of the Bobcats possibly selecting Ben McLemore, but he would've been a better upside pick in the top 5. If Cho wanted Zeller this bad, at least he could've traded down with Minnesota at 9th overall to Derrick Williams & a late 1st (26th overall) along with it. This pick deserves a C+ grade because Zeller is slightly above average at best

Once again, remember that Zeller was THE coveted projected number 1 pick, based upon his size and skill set. He had a few games that were not his best, and struggled against some opponents with size. I think his stock was unfairly diminished as a result.

I do put a lot of stock in real results combined with measurable potential. Zeller disappointed in a few key games this season, but his body of work is still very good. His measurables project to be an excellent long 4 who can also play some 5 as needed.

Who knows how he will turn out? I still like the pick at 4 more than any of the other options.
I continue to wait...and hope...for the return to Hornet's glory.

I honestly don't think that Zeller would have made it down to #9.
My picks:
2020 Draft (3rd pick) - Tyrese Haliburton, Devin Vassell, or Onyeka Okongwu
2021 Draft (11th pick) - Moses Moody

He gets crapped on for taking the young raw kid with a huge ceiling in MKG.
He gets crapped on for taking the well prepared, well rounded NBA ready kid in Zeller.

MJ is always going to get crapped on regardless.

According to reports, no he couldn't.

Philadelphia (reportedly) wanted Zeller instead of Noel when they traded up to 6. Had we have traded down, Zeller would've been gone.

The only guy I am really bummed that we missed out on is Oladipo - and we weren't in a position to draft him.

I'm willing to just kick back and see if Zeller can be something good.

Where's Stun?

Zeller is a 7 foot, jump shooting, white PF.

Can we start calling him Mini Dirk?

rumour was that Phoenix really wanted Zeller too, like MKG last year, I'm sure they looked at trades but couldn't guarantee that they would get the player they wanted

No way on God's green Earth would the Sixers have traded Jrue Holiday for Cody Zeller even with the future 1st rounder attached. Zeller was going to fall to the Sixers at 9th overall, and when they seen the Bobcats pass on Noel, they jumped

awfully finite statement there, where'd you buy your crystal ball?

Thank God we didn't draft Muhammed. That voice of his is annoying.
