^I don't think he'd accept a deal with only 2 years guaranteed, even if it means sacrificing a little per year.

Iggy's 2013 playoff stats:
18.0 ppg (50% FG, 48% 3's, 72% FT), 8.0 rebs, 5.3 assists, 2.0 steals in 40.5 minutes per.
Ok, I stand by my original Contract offer.
4 years $60 Mil with years 3 and 4 both team options.
I wouldn't do that. I'd go 5 years 50 mill with the first year front loaded in the range of 18-20 mill so we can have shorter years after to make it easier to sign new FAs and contract extensions.

Honestly, I'd rather overpay short-term than give him market-value (or slightly over) for 4 years.
3 years, $45-50 million > 4 years $45-60
Gives us 3 years to find a new, long-term SF to pair with Monroe and Drummond.

I agree with what PP said, but I'm still not sold on Iggy. FWIW, on the last episode of TBJ, when they discussed Iggy opting out, they said that sources had the Pistons as a possible destination, so at least there is rumors out there.

I'm telling you guys, Iggy's going to a veteran team...I can definitely see Dallas signing Iggy to a nice 4yr deal...Dumars is building this team around Monroe, so who ever we sign at the 2 or 3 will probably be young...

What changed between the regular season and the playoffs that resulted in those stats?
Impressive numbers regardless of pace

Motivation? Gallo was injured so he played more minutes at the 3 (compared to the 2 during the regular season)?

IF I could heavily front the deal for the first year and spread the rest out for 3 more years with a team option for an addition year it would be a perfect fit.

more minutes, more touches with Gallo injured and Fournier tied to the bench, and more aggressive, plus he was left wide open on the 3 point line as the Warriors basically only guarded the paint.

Iggy is a great fit with Pope and Knight.

Knight/Collison
Pope/Middleton/English
Igoudala/Singler
Monroe/Jerebko/CV
Drummond/Slava
I like Igoudala running the offense in the starting lineup but we'd still need to sign a solid PG to cover for Knight, which is where Collison comes in.

Or trade for Vasquez.
Or sign Teague:
Teague / Knight
Pope / Middleton / English
Iggy / Singler
Monroe / Jerebko
Drummond / Slava
#37 pick should be a PF

Id be down with that, but Id fear that Knight would start at the 2 alongside Teague, which I really do not want. And, if we trade for Vasquez- wed have to give up some assets and I don't know if we'd be better in the long run

Teague would be ideal.

Just out of curiosity, is there honestly something that Jeff Teague possesses that Knight couldn't eventually become? Vision? Athleticism? Defense? Shooting? Playmaking? Of all these things, could Knight never equal Teague in these areas? If I remember right, Teague's career started off slow and he became above average within the last couple years.

Klay Thompson sucks on D. Plus it's a meaninglessly small sample size.
I prefer Iggy at SG but we are desperate for a facilitator.
