Bynum was 18 and straight out of HS.

Len is 20 with 2 years of real competition in college.

I`m with mcD, so Len it is . Even though advanced stats really dont value Len, I dont think they are the best indicator of evaluating 20 year old future NBA careers.

He is going to suck in NBA atleast for a while though, i hope for a Asik impact kind of player with a better offence eventually.

Good thing we're in a rebuilding phase at the moment then.

Ok it took years for Hibbert to become decent

That's why I've always felt he might have more value mid season next year when some teams might have some injuries or see what they have after the draft and free agency and know they need a center.

Stop it with your rational thinking on this topic.

Wouldn't the rational thought be that he would be worth less with only half a season left on his contract? I'm not trying to be an Ahole. I honestly don't understand the thinking here. I feel like as time goes on his value decreases exponentially.

When all these free agent centers are gone some teams that are left with nothing will get desperate later in the offseason. Also, injuries happen. If a play-offs team looses their center due to an injury mid-season (and every year someone gets injured) they will be interested in Gortat.

Oh and Gortat for #10+Freeland was never going to happen on the draft night because the Blazers don't have the cap space until July 1.

You're probably correct but it still sucks to be us.

There have always been very delusional posters on this board that severely overrated Gortats trade value. I do think he ends up getting dealt in the next month. Of course the Suns are going to say Gortat will 'mentor" Len then don't want to seem desperate to move him. His value is probably a first rounder in 14 from a playoff team.

I hope you're right but I highly doubt we will get a lottery pick in 2014 and a late first rounder proably won't be any better than a late lottery in this draft. I'm just severely dissappointed. Feel fre to ignore me.

If Len can be as good as Vucevic, then I'll be happy.

I think Pierre Jackson will be our pick at #30, him or Tim Hardaway Jr. if available.

Yeah, I think its going to be Pierre Jackson as well unless some other team grabs him first. Not a bad guy to get at #30, think he's somewhat underrated.

Cool bro. Maybe I should stop refreshing this page.

Twitter is the worst thing to happen to drafts, I think.
