it is however, playing in the U20 league is just as good to play some good competition even if its not for the nba SL

As a drafter, Hammond does tend to operate in a way which in theory should please most people in this forum.

Tobias is a basketball player. There is no way to absolve the Redick/Harris trade regardless of the opinions on Hammond overall.

So what should I look for in terms of potential NBA skills during the summer league?
youre being kind of critical on the guy considering you dont know sht about him.
im in the dark as well. but if the little bit of video ive seen tonight is very intriguing. his measurables are insane. and with those measuables this guy is certainly not some biyombo type if thats what your thinking. i was concerned about his shooting form as my first impression but yet the report also states he can shoot pretty well despite that. i get the sense that as he ages and they clean up the mechanics there that maybe he can be solid. put that with his handle and his size and we may really have something. the foreign part for milwaukee helps too.
im guess im optimistic. this is as close to a hs kobe/garnett pick you can get these days.

He has actually gotten really good value in the draft for where we have picked. But we never acquire multiple picks, and his trades and FA moves have been awe inspiring in their futility

Yup, especially lately. If this kid and Henson pan out it'll be pretty impressive how good his last 4 picks have been.
Course he botched one of them all to hell with a pathetic trade. But still that'll be some fine drafting work.
Like we both said, it's after the draft when the problems often start.
So is Luc Mbah a Moute, and we still have him. And I love LRMAM. Rather have Tobias, LRMAM and Giannis than just the latter two and nothing to show for Tobias when J.J. Redick is gone.carmelbrownqueen wrote:blazza18 wrote:Steve210 wrote:So we traded Tobias who didn't develop fast enough, and pick a raw 18 year old that probably won't be ready to contribute for about 3 years, brilliant!
Basically why I am so confused with this pick lol. This team has nfi what its doing.
Tobias is a tweener

Alright, Luke. I wasn't trying it personal towards anyone on this board. It was just a general comment about some of the posts in this thread. If you can't see why I'd take what Hammond and Drew take with a grain of salt, then I don't know what to tell you.
I fully realize this. I don't know why people feel the need to **** on one of the few optimistic nights of the year for fans of this team. We will have plenty of time for this **** during the season.

15. Milwaukee Bucks: SF Giannis Antetokounmpo, Greece
The youngest player in the draft has tremendous potential. But there's not a lot known about him. Antetokounmpo may stay in Greece, as is typical for Greek players, for a few years. He has a great wingspan and is a very smooth athlete. He already has shown great handles and reminds scouts of Nicolas Batum. The Bucks could use help on the wings, but this pick is one for the future, possibly even three or four years down the road. Grade: B
