Looking through mocks, can't find anyone that excites me in the 27 range.

I know some Nuggets fans want Bullock because he can shoot, but we already have Hamilton.

A post big would be nice, but the likes of Dieng, Gobert arent exactly skilled bigs. Withey could be okay, but has a huge wasted pick potential. I'd be happy to trade down and take Muscala.

I would be fine if they just trade out of this draft if they do not trade up to a better pick to get a young PG or a more skilled big.

I'm a Mavs fan intrigued at the idea of JaVale McGee, since I don't really see us in position to grab any top FA center, though I know Denver seems to value him pretty highly. This isn't necessarily in line with the general plan of our team right now, but would you guys bite at this price?

Nuggets get
Shawn Marion
Jared Cunningham
#13 pick
2014 first

Mavs get
JaVale McGee
Andre Miller
#27 pick

I would probably do that deal as long as there is no protection on the pick for next year, although I am not so sure the Nuggets would do it. They seem to be very high on McGee, and cunningham as well as Marion do not really fit any needs for the team.

past around 7.... I don't see much of a point in trading up. Ledo would also be an okay risk where the nuggets draft.

We drafted Gobert for Utah.

Not sure what we got from the trade, hopefully a future first.

Adrian Wojnarowski ‏@WojYahooNBA 3m
The Nuggets will trade the rights to Rudy Gobert to the Utah Jazz, league source tells Y!

Benjamin Hochman ‏@nuggetsnews 2m
Den will send Gobert to Utah for cashand 46

Benjamin Hochman ‏@nuggetsnews 2m
It makes sense guys -- Den doesn't want to pay for a first-round pick who wouldn't play

No surprises here.

Yep.

Chances are that Quincy is better than whoever we would've taken at 27 anyway.

The only thing I'm upset about is that I have to watch this draft for another hour until we pick again.

Apparently we traded Koufos for Darrell Arthur and #55.

WTF?

I don't like this all. Koufos was awesome and on a bargain contract. I really can't see the logic behind it. Will we even be able to bring back Mozzy for as cheap as Koufos?

He was Karl's guy. Raw deal for Kosta he was solid for about half of the season then fell off. Couldn't buy a lay up.

You'd think they could get something better for him though.

Mozgov stays?

I think they will keep Mozgov, and if they can grab Iverson or another solid big for the 3rd center in the 2nd round I guess it will be okay, but it seems to be terrible value for Koufos, and I actually liked arthur before his injury about a year ago.

I like the Erick Green pick, he seems like good value for a 2nd round pick. It sounds like they think he can play PG too, so it'd be nice he plays well in summer league/training camp and gives the FO enough confidence to dump Andre Miller.

I doubt we ever see the new Frenchie.

Erick Green led the nation in scoring in the NCAA and was the only real scorer Virginia Tech had. Opposing teams prepared their defense around him and he would still put up great numbers with really efficient shooting numbers running around screens, breaking away from high pressure, and even in traffic. To me, he is a Gilbert Arenas lite in the way he plays. He is also listed at 6'3 but he is more 6'1.5.... good pickup though I hope he plays well.
