Not understanding the Ainge bashing. Were some of you guys really looking forward to rolling with another season of a 37 and a 36 year old as to cornerstones of the franchise? Some people are acting like we just traded two superstars in thier 20s

Hey this isn't all about what we are getting - pierce and kg get to stay together and get to play in NYC and have a shot at a title . Derin Williams joe Johnson and Lopez are all good players . So this is good for pierce and kg and that's important to Danny . Also how cool to think that kg and pierce can beat the Knicks!

Woah. It's one thing to be rumored and another to be going through. I like the move, but still shellshocked.

Pierce has been a celtic for 15 of my 27 years. Insane.

It's not going to hit me for real until we start the season and they aren't there. And then it'll hit me again when we play Brooklyn.

Garnett is a tough one to see go but Pierce is going to be impossibly difficult to see in another uniform I'm getting a little emotional right now just thinking about it. If Perk got a tribute video when he returned then they're going to have to delay the game to fit all of Paul Pierce's highlights into a tribute video.

I guess it speeds up the rebuild but I still think we should've just ridden out one more year with the guys.
