Agreed man. First started watching basketball at the same time Pierce joined the Celtics. Arguably the saddest day as a basketball fan for me. I'm gonna miss the pa announcer calling Paul's name in the starting lineup and all those clutch shots he made for us.

This is a tragedy. Have f*cking 7mil in cap room every year & get the 20th fusvheiopwbg rwuhpebHIPRBNQ pick for the next 5 years.

I swear to god i would get Danny out of Boston right now i had ANY authority. 3 Years of watching Crash take mins from jeff & getting paid 10mil for it. WE DON'T HAVE ANY CAP & NO WE HOPE THAT BKN BLOWSSSSSS so we get another lottery pick.

It's a damn shame. I hope BKN destroys this division. I know who I want in the 1 & 5 spot lol.

Favorite Celtic ever. It's not close.

Hopefully you stay on the board Ex. I don't post a lot, although have been posting more lately.

Those guys shouldn't wear black.

My favorite player ever. The guy who brought me to watching basketball. I love him, he'll always be my favorite player. I have no problem with him leaving for the Nets. Just hope that we wont somehow get into the playoffs and face the Nets in the 1st round... :o
Good assessment:

THANK YOU PAUL PIERCE! THE TRUTH! THE CAPTAIN!

My favorite player of all time and someone who gave me a reason to watch the Celtics during the previous dark age.

The celtic I grew up with. Plain and simple. He'll always bleed green. Hopefully he comes back in a J-Kidd way.

You were the only reason to follow this team for a long time.
You will always be a Celtic.
Thank you for taking one for the team.

So many great moments from the Truth over the years. He'll always be a Celtic. But I hope he gets one more ring with KG in Brooklyn. That, and the Celtics rebuild quickly and get back on top. 1st pick in next year's draft would be a nice start!
