Ennis may have enough versatility and athleticism to tempt one team to take a chance on him in the second round. The Ventura, Calif., native saw plenty of time at both forward and guard in his two seasons at Long Beach State, and was named the Big West Conference's player of the year in 2012-13. Ennis ranked in the top 10 in the league in eight categories, including scoring (16.5 points per game) and rebounding (6.7 per contest). He was in top five in steals (1.8), blocks (1.3) and free-throw percentage (83.4). That defensive prowess was aided by a nearly 7-foot wingspan. In his 67 games with the 49ers, Ennis showcased a fine shooting touch from the outside by making 35.4 percent of his 3-point attempts, and he knocked down 49.3 percent of his overall shots. A title-winning high jumper in junior college, Ennis was invited to the College Slam Dunk competition in April. While he has some explosive ability, Ennis is still raw and needs more work on his ball handling. He averaged 3.0 turnovers in 2012-13, the second-most in the Big West.
