You guys are the whiniest bunch I think I've ever seen in my life. While I'm not a big of EG, some of your hate for him as turned into clouded hysteria. So the F' what that we gave up the 54th pick to move up three spots to the the 35th, pretty much useless pick anyways.

I for one like the GRJR pick, while his character is a bit questionable, he seems to be a player that can be useful to the team as a backup 2 or 3. You need a player or two on your team that has some dirt underneath their fingernails.

Are ya'll for real? Glen Rice Jr. played well in the D League, where he shouldn't even have been. The kid is tough, athletic and can shoot. If he didn't have those problems at Gtech, he would have easily been a 1st round pick this year.

No one wanted two second rounders, three if you add in Thomas S. on this roster. So they did what they had to do to get the player that they wanted. This isn't a reach pick on someone who shouldn't have been drafted and its wasn't a euro stash pick.

Coming away with Porter and Rice is a good draft and some of y'all are still pissed. That's crazy.
Just let the young boys play! It's truly the only hope at this point.

Maybe Kelly doesn't get drafted. Would be good if we tried to pick him up then.

When you are trying to get back to respectability, yet alone the playoffs (playoffs???), you don't pick D-leaguers with a very checkered past.

Especially when Turd and Ernie were trying to convince the fan base we were done with the 'knuckleheads'

Damn, we didn't get two slow white guys who can't guard a door. Kelly is a FA type of player. Wolters isn't quick enough to play the point in the NBA. He's a poor man's Jeff Hornacek.

I don't think he gets drafted. He doesn't have an NBA body.

I just don't understand what you guys like about Kelly. To me, he is HIGHLY overrated and is a terrible defender. I kept hearing Bilas say he was a great defender, yet every time I watched him play he played Brandon Jennings defense (aka "have a free lay-up defense"). He is a good shooter, yes, but he is nothing more than a poor man's Steve Novak. Do I wish we got Tony Mitchell? Sure, but GR3 could be a good backup to Beal and the 54th pick to me means nothing more than pile of dirt, especially when considering EG's past success with second round picks

Second round histrionics are an annual tradition for Wizards fans. It's what I stayed up for.

If they don't bring back Webster, maybe they use their MLE on a solid big man

If you're right.....I'd nut all over myself!! With the way this draft is going.....good call. I would put EG in the GENIOUS category among soft draft GM's!

He's not your typical D Leaguer. He just choose to go there, instead of transferring and having to sit out a year, which he could have done. As for the checkered past, sure he made some mistakes at Gtech. But I'm sure he's paid his dues and had to earn the respect of his teammates and coaches or I'm sure he wouldn't have played or been given to opportunity to become MVP. In the end, he's a 2nd round pick. Not much risk, but very high reward. Very good pick and very good trade.
