EASILY. Best case scenario for Wolters is Redick. Best case for Ledo is MUCH higher. I understand the ceiling is worth but I take that risk with a 2nd round pick.

With that said, Ledo went to 4 highschools in four years and failed college so he couldn't play ball there. Intelligence and ability to learn has to be pretty low.

Wolters compared to Redick is the worst 'lets compare a white guy to another white guy' comparison I've seen in awhile. Redick was/is a shooter and Wolters is a ball handler with scoring ability. Wolters isn't a shooter really. If you want to go the white guy route he is way more Ridnour or Jason Williams then he is Redick.

i need to know because the possibility of getting a stockton AND a pippen in the worst draft of all time seems like just too much good fortune than im used to around here.

The question with him is whether he can do the stuff he was doing in college against nba players because of his lack of length / athleticism. If he can he is a massive steal, if not he will be practically useless.

As far as comparisons, a less athletic Dragic maybe? ridnour is ok too

Henson jumped the gun with Ledo and Tobes backed him up. But Henson said he liked Wolters once that was announced. None of our players seemed to say anything about Giannis. Bogut would have at least said something. Come on Larry, Luc, guys...

Guys, we drafted Beno Udrih here.

This was a nice pickup, but as I'm bitching in the other thread, if this team wanted to make a statement that something had changed, then load up the powder and go get Trey Burke as Utah did when he slipped to nine.

I agree, plus we seem to draft much better than perform draft day trades. I guess we needed some immediate help and Ledo was more a potential pick like Antetokounmpo.

my comment was a joke. i havent seen either of our new guys so i was being a bit facetious with my post.

if the guy is a fairly safe bet to be a decent backup pg then he was a good pick. sounds like thats what the feeling is so im happy with it.

I feel like we weren't prepared for how the draft unfolded. However, I'm glad we missed on Burke. If I were betting on it, I would put my money on Giannis busting. However, I think he has a small chance of being the best player in this draft.

Wolters was a good call.

What we're we giving up? 14 and 21 is better then anything we could offer, unless you wanted to offer next years first.

I guess Henson was down with getting more athletic, so was I with the Ledo pick.

He seemed genuine on Wolters though, he was silent when it was Muscula, "too soon" or something like that.

Yeah that'd be a statement of more mediocrity ... I don't see much in Burke that Wolters can't offer. Only we'd be expecting more and giving up assets to get him.

Or just draft Ledo, who was probably a lotto pick if he had managed to get on the court during the season

I too would prefer Ledo ... But Wolters could be a pretty nice get.

That's the madding point, but you could see he was humbled when he dropped so far because of not playing against college competition. I think Ledo told his buddy, it's about time when he stood up, so he'll come in with a chip on his shoulder.

Here the what Chad Ford had to say about Wolters: The Wizards have traded this pick to the Bucks. I love Wolters; he was the Jimmer Fredette of college basketball.

Just wanted to add that to all the white comparisons. I sure hope Wolters skill set translate to the NBA game better than Jimmer's!!!!!
