Even if he did, there is no way even Hammond is stupid enough to give him $8 million per year.

I'm like you guys, was ecstatic with Ledo, then devasted about Muscala then happy with Wolters. Smart, good scorer, crafty, good ball handler, great size. If he is a hard worker he definitely has a spot in this league as at least a backup PG. excited to see him and Henson in Summer league.

No kidding

Brooks is a selfish ball hog on offense who thinks he's a better scorer than he really is and defensively, he makes Corey Maggette look like a hard worker.

I'm a Marquette fan and will never forget watching Brooks in a Big East Tournament game vs MU where Marshawn just jogged back in transition so many times after a missed shot by him that announcers Jay Bilas and Rafferty called it as an embarrassing display of effort as they've ever seen from a player of his talent. Even his teammates gave him dirty looks, but their lame assss coach never yanked Brooks. Buzz Williams the Marquette coach i honestly think would have ripped Brooks jersey off and kicked him off the team right there on the court.

He's way better than Gooden.

I don't know what that means either.

It means what we've been saying for years. You don't give a damn about basketball I.Q. and are biased in favor of guys who look good in the And-1 league but aren't worth sh*t in the NBA. Conversely, you hate players who aren't slick but who do a lot more to help the team win.

In defense of Nebs he did have an unhealthy love of Joe Smith back in 06ish. That's all I got.

Well that's not true at all. I like plenty of role players, however for Milwaukee I've never been in favor of them (Dunleavy) so the franchise could bottom out to get a top pick. I never liked Monta Ellis, for example and my favorite teams have always been like the Memphis Grizzlies or Indiana Pacers. I defended the Marc Gasol trade. I was a fan of the Paul George pick. You guys just see what you want to see, even if I do respect Nick Young's ability to score.

I'm sure Wolters will be a fine pick. I was just happy seeing Ledo's name there and we picked him only to trade him.

Lol at the people disappointed about Ledo, the guy is dumber than a box of rocks and has a shady background. Those are two qualities that don't mix well w/ getting paid millions of dollars.

Yep, this combined with, according to Press, him going all Todd Day about being drafted by Milwaukee & I'm not going to get all upset about passing on Ledo. I don't think it was a bad move by the Bucks. Gotta have some high BBIQ glue guys on every successful team. Hoping that Wolters becomes a rangy distributer than can see over defenses and run a tight P'R game with our lengthy front court.

He was pissed about falling, if he hated Milwaukee so much why did he work out for us?

Yeah, the more I let this pick/trade sink in, the more I'm happy we ended up with Wolters instead of Ledo.

As with anything, time will tell. Let's get a look at both of them in SL before we jump off the roof. I think Wolters will surprise people and quickly become a fan favorite.

I'm late to the Wolters party but this was a great pickup in the 2nd round, I really really like what we did in the draft. Yeah he'll struggle on D but if he can at least play smart and try to funnel opposing guards to our long guys down low maybe he can make it work some. I don't care that we passed on Ledo for him, Ricky is a huge unknown with all kinds of question marks, including ones about his character. I really like this pick.

The good thing about Wolters is after being in South Dakota for 4 years, Milwaukee will feel like Manhattan.

It's fair to say that Wolters' season in the Summit League this year was comparable to George Hill's senior season in the same league.
