I can see TT defending the 3 and then switching back on offense. I guess my issue is that paint just got really crowded. You need one of those stretch 4's or 5's in that line up.

Jarret Allen isn’t winning you anything. Garland won’t show up in the playoffs. Mobley is a glorified dunk man. Mitchell has some experience but is a liability on defense. To me, the Cavs are a treadmill team.

The more and more I think about it. I think we are going to shop Tristan/AV for best available center. Odd that Memphis picked up Kosta last night. They traded Rudy Gay for depth......do they deal Marc Gasol? Doubtful

Cmon man. Theyre not trading Gasol. They moved Arthur for Gasol because Ed Davis is a backup 4 not a backup 5. It was just a trade of backups

To me Bennett looks like a mix between Larry Johnson & Elton Brand. Cavs surprise me every year!

They say he has the absolute highest ceiling in this draft and that if he was 2-3 inches taller it would not even be close that he would be the consensus #1. I see Thompson being the starting 5 in the future - sorta like Haslem in Miami.....Bennett should play the 4...

Anthony Bennett
When asked what his paramount adjustment will be at the next level, Bennett responded: “Transitioning my game from the power forward to the small forward”. Bennett was steadfast in proclaiming that his pro position is at the THREE, making it known without direct questioning.

Some scouts say you are the most “NBA ready” prospect in the draft. Is your game ready for the pros?

“I’m 6’7, so people say I’m a tweener, but I don’t really look at it like that. I dominated college all year. I scored inside and outside, I rebounded and helped my teammates score as well. So I feel I’m ready.”

Good luck guarding Lebron James, Kevin Durant, & Paul George. WOW

Ok so whats up with Carrick Felix? He was a second round pick so obviously these guys don't work out very often but hes 6-6 and very athletic and a good on ball defender. Also it looks like he is a decent catch and shoot player, obviously he won't be a star but he looks like he has a very good chance to become a good defender...I'm just wondering why he fell so far if he is so athletic and such a great defender and will he stick around with the cavs?

Late bloomer, low ceiling, cannot create his own shot, no handles, older, poor FT shooter due to inconsistent shot form (he's still learning his shot). Limits exposure means who knows?

If Alonzo Gee was a deep threat instead of a slasher, he'd look like Felix... Assuming Felix develops.

Still that sounds good to me...he sounds like thabo sefolosha... decent spot up shooter and lock down defender. He doesn't have to be a star so I don't think his low ceiling really matters...he sounds like a great role player

That was his downfall. Team's want guys that think might become more. I don't think there was much hope Felix would ever be anything more than that. Still some value, and he was taken pretty high all things considered.

One thing I did not know about, was that Tristan grew from 6'8 to 6'10. Can anyone confirm this?
Tristan said he Is at 6'10 and Is still growing, so maybe having Tristan at the 5 might not be so bad...

I'm so confused :(

Also, I still would have preferred If we moved down, but It seems there was no clear cut number 1 as Noel dropped so much due to his knees. Bennett may be 6 foot 8, but he Is extremely skilled, athletic & smart.
His numbers at UNLV dropped off due to his shoulder Injury, He Is a very good re bounder from what I'm reading.
His only knock so far Is his defense, can Mike Brown fix this issue? Chris Grant has said that Bennett will be a four and will probably play a little bit of 3 when we go big. The guy prefers to bang down low, but can also hit the j all the way out to the 3. I feel a little better about the pick.

So far we are getting mostly praise from the media, and several sites for a change.

It'd be a dream if he was still growing like that but i doubt we get that lucky.

I just watched highlights of Bennett and wow does he remind me of a young pre-injury Larry Johnson! Larry Johnson in his first few years in charlotte was amazing. The only thing Bennett probably lacks that Lj had was leadership! Lj was 6-7 and was able to play both sf and pf. LJ was my favorite player when he played for the hornets! Not sure what LJ weighed

I never thought of that comparison before. Is that a good thing or a bad thing, I never watched Larry Johnson play before.

Yeah, I feel ya, LJ was a beast. Loved that UNLV team, they were nearly unbeatable. I truly hope he is close to what LJ was pre injury.

God just thinking about a Kyrie/Dion & Bennett Pick & Roll. Since the guy on the general board posted that Wizards were going to take Bennett at three, I can forgive Grant for not trading down.

Let's hope this works out though, This draft was a huge gamble In Itself. There were no clear cut number one pick, so I do not understand how anyone can be seen as a reach In this draft.

I always thought that the Wizards were going to take Otto Porter over anyone else.

At this point, I am just waiting to see what other moves the Cavs are going to be making during the summer.. Drafting Bennett still doesn't make much sense to me.

I'm sure a lot of Canadians (myself included) will be checking you guys out on League Pass next season.
