Really? He probably hasn't slept yet. I'm sure right after the draft, the Magic flew him down here to Orlando.

He flew in shortly after noon today, but is probably so hyped, he got very little sleep

Just listening to NBA TV who think we made a reach for Oladipo and that we settled for a guy that we thought would work hard for a couple years while we rebuilt and not necessarily the most talented guy. Drafted a need. If McLemore becomes a perennial all-star everyone in Orlando is getting fired. -Aldridge.

Aldridge is an idiot. Using his logic then all 6 teams that passed on McLemore are going to fire their entire front office.

I still think Ben has the highest potential to be an All Star but that's ridiculous.

All 6? We are the only team that picked a guard over Mac out of those teams. I think that is his point.

If they fire Henny over one pick, our management is awful.

Guys, we just got a special damn player. Couldn't be happier with the selection, this guy is going to be a star. His game reminded me of Jordan before I even heard the comparisons. No, he will not be the next Jordan but his freak athleticism and ability to finish around the rim is Jordan like. His game resembles Jordan's game.

I found it funny that Moe was there, sizing up his competition. Nik's legs look ripped. My god.

I was gonna say that earlier, tree trunks are growing. Glad he's here still and then going to play for his country this summer, than hopefully back here quickly for training camp in great shape.

I'm not gonna lie....I was crossing my fingers that we were going to take Ben Mclemore. but i'm assuming Hennigan has his reasons and sees more in oladipo through the scouting, interviews and work outs.

with the two players i think that it comes down to....both have not reached their ceilings. in one corner you have Mclemore who i think there is plethora of untapped talent and that is mainly due to how he was asked to play and it comes down to whether or not heis willing scratch that surface. In my opinion as well....Oladipo is by no means a finished product....still not sure about their ceiling comparatively...but he is one that is willing to scratch and dig for gold. But...in the end...."In Henny I trust"

but the repeating of "motor" "hard worker" ..."character guy" is getting played out a little. I wanna hear about how he has and will improve the game and not only that i will push myself on the court. Cuz i can have a high motor, great character and be a hard worker....but that does not make me "#2 worthy"...let alone "draft worthy"

so if all these dwade jordan comparisons means that he is a diamond in the rough and is moving towards/yet maybe not reaching the same level of those two.....i would be happy.

None the less...I am still happy with the selection and i welcome him to Orlando! "Make us Proud"

Rob doing an interview and just said they envision Vic & Hark playing in the backcourt together, at the 1 & 2. He also said they let out a HUGE sigh of relief when Cavs made their pick. Vic was their #1 target.

If Oladipo could learn to play point, it would just be ridiculous.

"Postions" are very overrated, give me 5 good basketball players over 5 average position players together on the court any day. Talent wins games.

In which ways would be be different than Bledsoe? Seem similar to me, just taller. I could see Oladipo settling in around 35% from 3 and 48% from 2pt.

Talent is what's important, but it's based on opponent position. It matters what they play against. Harkless could be a good SF, but too slow to guard SG and not have good enough dribble to score against opposing SGs.

It would be similar, but Dipo is going to be a way better player than Bledsoe. Also height matters, especially for point guards.
