can we pay someone to argue with Bautista or maybe pay the ump to call horrible strikes against him and then throw him out? we need something to fire Bautista up

this slump of his is lasting rather long...

JPK is an embarassment to the team. I'm so sick of his crap defense and hack offensive approach. The guy has an OBP of .250, and it's only that high because he had some big games against the likes of Jeff Francis.

I put the blame squarely on AA here. Not only did he drastically overpay for Dickey, but he gave up the heir apparent at catcher in doing so. If it weren't for his other quality moves, it would suggest a real lack of talent assessment ability on his part.
Nick Nurse recounting his first meeting with Kawhi:
“We could have gone forever. (Raptors management) kept knocking on the door and I was like, ‘A couple more minutes.’ Because we were really into it."

Johnson is pitching poorly tonight. Not going to cut it against a team this good.

Glad to know that JPA remembered to block the plate against the speedy Ortiz. Thankfully he did not pull a Molina.

What difference does it make when you have a moron of a manager who continues to play him everyday regardless of how much he's hurting the team? You don't even have to like Josh Thole but to even argue that he wouldn't be a significant improvement over JPK is unconscionable, again like i said before except for reliever usage Gibbons is as terrible as Farrell, there's not a creative bone in his body.

Thole is 2 for 19. He's hitting .226/.286/.279 over 375 PAs in 2012 and 2013. No, it's not unconscionable to argue that he would not be a significant improvement. I have no love for Arencibia, but he is genuinely the better option.

Thole is terrible. We've been over this.

Even keeping in mind his lack of offense, he's also a worse defensive catcher than Arencibia. And that makes him quite bad in that area, indeed.
