I'm happy about the Zeller pick, might've been happier with Len, but our FO thought Zeller was better. Like very few around here lately, I still trust Cho.

I'm cranky for another reason. I was all bent out of shape last night about the pick. And now, the pick is starting to set better with me. I had all this rage last night, and it somehow disappeared. I need to find it again. In too much of a mellow mood for my liking. Next thing I know, I'll be wearing one of those "I love Cody" shirts!

Wilbon on PTI said that there was no one in this draft that you should say oh they should have taken them over Zeller, he says if Zeller averages 14 and 9 in 3 or 4 years then nobody can mock MJ.

I'm starting to feel better about the pick no matter how many negative reviews mrknowitall215 throws up of sites I have never heard of.

I love defense so I'm still a bit pissed that we missed out on a golden opportunity to take Noel because he's going to make us pay but I'm warming up to the Zeller pick. I'll just look at it as if we traded for a younger David Lee with a higher upside. These are the stages of disappointment turning into indifference and that shifting into optimism as a fan. Go Cody!

I enjoyed Cody's interview on WFNZ this afternoon. He's very personable and actually wanted to come live here over the bigger cities that were possibilities. Jay Bilas was on before that and gave glowing predictions for him.

I think he's going to work out fine.

We still need a superstar, but we'll get that next year hopefully.

40? Not crazy about that number, I know it was his IU number though

Coach said Kemba is really excited about Cody and they made the right pick, and might even come to summer league

If true, we are the preseason #1 title contender! Kemba/Taylor/MKG/Zeller/Biz

Sadly, thats 4/5ths of the starting lineup as well and that will be other fans excuse

it doesnt count to come back 4 years from now and say "we should have drafted _______ because he is now an all-star"

4 years from now steven adams could be a stud and people will say "can you believe jordan passed on adams in 2013?"

That's unfair- You can't evalueate McLemore hwen he ends up with Kings. That alone prevent him to have a solid career. You can't say he wouldn't be better in Charlotte.

I think Len will have a better start due to having Dragic and all those guys to play with only problem is splitting time with Gortat. Noel will struggle a little at first like Zeller. Both will have to learn how to play the PF position and Noel has less to work with than Zeller does at this point. Losing Jrue is kind of gutting that squad next season. McLemore is a wait and see. Here he puts up ok numbers because he gets shots. There it is hard to tell. To many negative factors on that team and if the have Evans back next year too it will be hard for him to get the shots to really make a difference. Zeller will get plenty of chances here and has an advantage of not having any cancerous players on this team. That along with little competition from high priced players will net him more chances than anyone else. The real test for all these guys will be what they are doing for their teams when the teams finally make a playoff push. I think at that time Zeller or McLemore will be the most likely to be bench guys and Len and Noel will be starters. That is just my feeling. You always need role players and I think Zeller can be a decent role player but he has a ways to go before he is even that.

Why are some poster SO sure he can never be an all star?

If guys like LMA and Bosh can be all stars, why can't Cody?

This pick has grown on me. Honestly, outside of McLemore, I'm fine with Zeller. I also would've been disappointed if we had passed on Bennett for him, but honestly, even though Noel was the big name and rocks a sweet fade, I'm not sold on him being an offensive threat. And then the knees and big men thing. Len could be good, but he's raw. McLemore just has the upside and we need the shooting. And I think we made a big mistake passing. But after Mc, honestly, you can make an argument that Zeller was just as good of an option as anyone else that was available.
