I never heard of him before last night. I've read some conflicting reports that he's a SG or a PG.

He seems to have good size and athleticism from what I've read. I suspect he'll go to summer league and go to camp with a real chance to earn some playing time off the bench at backup SG. But with Jenkins and Lou Williams already coming off the bench at scoring guard, he might just be future trade bait. He spent some time in the D-League last year, I expect him to see more time their unless we go to full on tank mode.

His calling card is defense and athleticism , in the same mold as Tony Allen and Avery Bradly. Last year Ferry felt it necessary to get Dahntay Jones , maybe Ferry plans to replace Dahntay with Cunningham

As slow as our wings are, it's good to see an athletic defender on the bench. Of course, that's why I understood we drafted Ellis, as well, so what do I know?

As a "3 and D" guy, he certainly fits the Spurs model. HOWEVER, why did DAL only play him 26 minutes for the entire season - after drafting him in the 1st round - and give up on him for marginal financial gain? At $1.2 million for next year, he didn't save them much.
My mother told me, she said, "Elwood, to make it in this world you either have to be oh, so clever or oh, so pleasant." Well, for years I was clever; I recommend pleasant.

I went to college with him and crossed paths a few times
The guy can seem a bit dumb as rocks
So maybe that was Dallas's issue
With him
I was surprised to see him traded

I hope he gets some decent playing time for you guys
