scoobs, I think you'll find that it will be a buyer's market for Bledsoe, not a seller's. Orlando, Detroit and Sacramento are the teams with the biggest demand for a PG, especially now that New Orleans and Utah both acquired PGs on draft night.

Pistons have been shrewd lately. I don't see them giving much up for Bledsoe. Stuckey at best, IMO.

Sacramento doesn't have much to send back other than Tyreke who would be a duplication of Crawford.

Afflalo is the best that the Clippers are going to be offered. I don't see any reason Orlando needs to bid against themselves to get Bledsoe. Clips are the ones that need to move him.

It is obvious that you guys (or Orlando front office) i should say has interest in Bledsoe. I also know that you guys are thinking about going into tanking mode, which is the opposite of what we are doing, so we would be good trade partners. My main objective is to collect some more assets to send over to Portland for Aldridge. There has to be some kind of compromise to get something done, it just makes to much sense for both teams.

Are you saying you want us to trade Afflalo, Nicholson and a 1st for Bledsoe and Butler? That is god awful and there is no way on earth we would make that trade. Afflalo is a better player than Bledsoe.

We have been in tank mode since last year.
I guess we are just not seeing things the same way. I see it like this:

1. You get the expiring contract of Butler in exchange for the 3 years/23 million remIning on Afflalo's deal. This aspect of the trade alone allows you to acomplish multiple things. First, it saves your team 23 million dollars on a bench player. You invested the 2nd pick in the draft on Oladipo and you are in rebuilding mode, I don't think you
drafted him to come off the bench, so AA would be relegated to the bench. Second, Butler is less talented then Afflalo, which helps you win less games during the 2013-2014 season. You guys are tanking right? Third, you get Eric Bledsoe, who your front office supposedly covets. You give up a mid to late first round pick and you give up Nicholson who is just ok...You know what, how about you keep Nicholson and absorb Joel Freeland and his 2 years/6 million remaining. Would you be willing to do that?

Magic get: Bledsoe(point guard you covet), Butler(tanking mode) and Freeland(allows you to keep Nicholson)

Clippers get: Aldridge, Afflalo and Withey

Blazers get: Jordan, 2014 1st round pick (the worst of your 2 picks), 2017 1st round pick (Clippers) and 3 million cash (Clippers)

Hey, I was willing to compromise on this one, i hope it makes sense to you! If not, good luck finding somebody to take Afflalo (I know he is not somebody you just unload, but it would be in your best interest to do so, if your goal is to get a high lottery pick). Also, good luck in finding a point guard! We are such good trade partners, I don't think there would be too much posterior going on between front offices.

AA is good player, we don't want to unload him, we don't need to unload his contract either, we ll have a lot of money under the cap and no decent fa we can get anyway

We can go after Bledsoe in free agency if we really want him

So I think the best deal u ll get is;

AA+Moore+ maybe a 2nd rounder for Bledsoe+butler

Not even close to enough value for Portland. There is no way they trade Aldridge for Jordan and 2 late firsts. Jordan is not a good player and is on a bad contract.

I just don't see why we would give up the best player in the deal plus more assets. We aren't desperate for Bledsoe or anything right now. Afflalo has value, it will be easy to move him.

How about this 4 team trade:

MIN: Afflalo + Nicholson
PHO: Bazz + D.Will + Withey
POR: Gortat
ORL: McCollum

Minny get a SG who can help them win now and who will play well off Rubio.
Phoenix get a dark horse potential impact scorer to build with, a trade chip in Williams, and a younger version of Gortat in Withey.
Portland gets a veteran, defensive C, who's still young enough to fit with their young core.
Orlando gets a combo guard who would really complete our roster.

Vuc
Harris
Harkless
Oladipo
McCollum

I think Orlando would have to add more value to such a trade. How about you just keep Afflalo and you trade use the worse of your 2014 picks (which will likely be in the 20s) and Nicholson? Does that sound like a good compromise?

we arent giving up a 2014 pick in a loaded draft. Bledsoe looks like a nice player, but he is in a PG's body with bad PG skills. he doesnt pass very well, doesnt shoot very well. He is great on the break and at defense. And has this year before his agent pushes for a high payday, and someone will give it to him and possibly regret it a year or 2 later.

But if any of your trades start with us giving up a '14 pick, and Paul or Blake arent coming back, then no thanks.

What other point guard is available besides Bledsoe? I'm getting tired of hearing about Bledsoe.

I'll be shocked if we dont do the AA for EB swap within the next week. Makes too much sense for both teams.

yeap i agree

once CP resign a deal will go through

After the draft, i think only few team are looking for a PG and AA is the best offer on the table so LAC doesnt have much leverage, ROB hold the card, the longer LAC wait, the better it is for us

Just thought about this:

Detroit wants Bledsoe. What if we trade for Bledsoe and then trade Bledsoe to the Pistons and get back Brandon Knight? I, admittedly, haven't seen much of Knight but have heard that Detroit is still holding onto him.

What I do know is that that he's a beast in 2K.

I have been hearing that. He's listed as a PG though. I just did some research on him, and his to ratio is terrible. Forget the idea lol.

I'm not saying Knight will NEVER be a PG, but I highly doubt it.

Well, he's a scoring PG, right? And he's only 21. His turnover numbers are pretty high, but given his age, he'll continue to grow and improve.

How are his passing, court vision, and bball iq?

I'mg going to watch some of his games when I get a chance to, but I'd like to know what to look for before I do.

Now that the draft is over.....i really wonder what would it take to pry Derrick Favors away from Utah. I have no clue what they are planning on doing with Jefferson and Millsap. But i think that Favors would be an ideal complement to Vuc ....and the entire team.

Starting line up of....
Nelson/Moore
Oladipo/Jones/lamb
Harris/Harkless
Favors/Nicholsen or Big Baby/Osby
Vucevic/Oquinn

That would be a well balanced and almost too talented to actually tank next season. Balance of offensive firepower and defense as well.

I know he would be available next offseason.....but seeing how he would fit on our roster prior to that would be great. If Afflalo + pieces (Nicholsen + future First Round (our 2015 pick)) or Afflalo + big baby and a pick for Favor and Williams would make it happen....I would much prefer to see that than picking up bledsoe for a similar package.

I know the derrick favors thing has been tossed around before the draft.....but i want to know what peoples thoughts are now.

Favors is pretty much as close to untouchable as it gets
