Tristan said he Is at 6'10 and Is still growing, so maybe having Tristan at the 5 might not be so bad...

I'm so confused :(

This is from his Instagram today. Seems like both same height, maybe an inch difference.

Tristan seems much taller.

Which is crazy because he was drafted at 6'8.

lol, how do we know they aren't sitting on a couch?

Bennett was taller than Felix - as he should be.

My only concern is Mike Brown actually playing these guys. He is well known for letting rookies rot on the bench. I wouldn't be surprised of Bennet only got 15-20 MPG.

He Is no choice, all we have Is rookies & young guys. Just because Bennett was the number 1 pick, doesn't mean he gets the spot right away. Let him earn It the right way.

The 4.

I imagine him and TT will share the 4 and TT and Andy will Share the 5 a bit with Zeller getting whatever minutes left over.

Not sure if playing him at the 3 much would be smart but we could have some crazy good small ball lineups with Bennett and TT at 4 and 5. We'd really be able to get out and run.

Defense might be an issue but i think its an issue with whatever lineup we throw out

I know for certain, Bennett can't play the three. He will get burned by the ultra quick SF's. Power Forward Is his position. By the way, do you think we could somehow grab Asik from the rockets If they get Howard? He would be perfect for this team. Either way our offense will be somewhat elite, but our defense might be somewhat horrible.

I been saying this for ages. I really want him. Unfortunately we'd probably have to send out TT but maybe we could work out a 3 team trade where we send andy, gee and future picks or something

Congrats guys on Bennett first of all. I watched him all year at UNLV last year and I am very excited to see what he do in the NBA. I always believed he had the most potential in the draft if he pans out, but I wasn't expecting him to be in your guys radar.

He was an absolute beast last year for a freshmen. Came in to UNLV and was instantly the best player. He is going to be an elite finisher in this league. IMO he is a clear face up 4 and should be developed that way.

Few red flags include his lack of defense. He is capable of playing, I wish he would invest on defense as much as his offense. He was also limited when UNLV played any high altitude level teams, he has always had asthma. He also played with some terrible point guard play last year, but still got a lot of offensive production through pick and roll/pop situation.

He reminded me of per injury Amare Stoudemire when he played here. Hope he does well with the Cavs!

Hm, thanks for the write up. This actually made me feel a lot better about Bennett.

Offensively there is no reason he can't play the 3.

Its only defense that the problem. I don't mind the pick, but Grant has continued his disturbing trend of drafting undersized one way players. Its so hard to put together a respectable defense that way.

Minutes shouldn't be too big a problem. 24 each at the PF and 10 each at their secondary positions. Seems like Zeller will be the odd man out.

The Cavaliers really need to find a couple two for one upgrade trades. Their becoming a deep and mediocre team, instead of just a good one.

Bennett Is a good re bounder as well. But defense Is teachable, It shouldn't be a problem since we have a hard nose defensive coach now. Bennett with Byron Scott, would piss me off though..

So do anyone think Carrick Felix can be a good defensive minded wing for us off the bench? I like his game a lot, for some reason he reminds me of a poor man's Jimmy Butler. Non stop motor, defensive minded wing that can play both the two and the three off the bench for us, he Is a good three point shooter.

Since the Cavs are letting go of Wayne Ellington, I can defiantly see him become one of Brown's favorite.

I agree, last year when our offense was stagnant, Wayne was the one who kept us In games. Grant likes to gamble a lot, I hope he has something planned...

wayne's cap hold was $5.2M, they had to renounce his rights to maintain cap flexibility in FA, i would not be surprised if they tried to bring him back at a lower price, let's say 1 year @ $2.5-3M (i think he gets a multi-year deal elsewhere though)

When has Mike Brown ever let a rookie rot on the bench? The most talented rookie hes ever had is probably Boobie Gibson, and he let him play huge minutes in the playoffs.

Shannon Brown/ JJ Hickson/Danny Green. Even Gibson didn't play his rookie season until major injuries hit and brown had no other choice.

I actually can't think of any rookie that brown played meaningful minutes besides Gibson due to injury.
