I think he's going to get Darren Collison'd whenever he takes over for a team. He isn't somebody that creates for others, isn't a strong shooter, and really is at his best in transition situations.
He brings some great skills to the floor, but they're generally skills more preferred in a shooting guard that's about 6 inches taller.
All things said, I wouldn't give up anyone of note for him. If they can get him without giving up Knight, KCP, Monroe or Drummond, go for it. Otherwise, it's a pass.

They see Bledsoe as a chip to get them someone who can start for them and therefor do more than Bledsoe could. Even if they actually liked Knight, why would they make this deal?
Knight per reports isn't available in this deal, and if Bledsoe is the more ready piece....as a contender, why would you make that move

Remember that time Tay supposedly got assured by the Pistons he wouldn't be traded, and ended up getting traded a few weeks later? You should always talk with a grain of salt who's said to be not available, and some times who's available.

The Bledsoe deal is complicated, but why do most of you think that pointing out Bledsoe's flaws is a sufficient response? Bledsoe was an excellent backup last year, he's astoundingly athletic, and he's still very young. Not being Russell Westbrook, and receiving a bit more media attention than he deserved lady year, doesn't mean he's a scrub. We're talking about giving up the so-far-not-good Brandon Knight for him, not someone who's a proven very good player like Greg Monroe.
Sorry to single out your response, Heisenberg, since it's actually a nice post and a good account of his game, but a guy who does what you say well is still a really good player, right? Chauncey didn't really create for others until about 2005, and Iguodala for one was just fine on offense scoring mostly in transition, going to the cup, and on wide-open spot ups. (Plus Bledsoe did shoot 40% from three last year... though on only 2 shots per 36). I'm not saying Bledsoe will be like either of them, but having flaws in your game doesn't mean you're not a useful player.

Re: Bledsoe
I don't want Bledsoe only because he can't shoot. I don't think we have the pieces to get him either. Also, I am still a big believer in Knight. I want Dumars to solely focus on the SG and SF positions first.
