"Eventually" doesn't necessarily mean this upcoming season. I think he would be a terrific mentor for Dipo.

This is just going off my memory, but as I remember, Scott was the guy that was responsible for drafting and grooming Afflalo in Detroit. Well, he pushed hard for him in Detroit. Then he then lobbied Henny hard for Afflalo last year and was the guy that brought him in. Perry was the vice president of basketball operations in Detroit when Arron began his career with the Pistons and Perry told Hennigan that AA had a positive attitude that would "rub off on teammates."
I completely disagree on Afflalo not being a l/t project. That's why he was brought here. Maybe they move him now because of how things worked out in the draft, but they don't want to.

I don't know why people keep talking about dumping Afflalo. Oladipo's presence doesn't eliminate his need here. In fact, the compliment each other perfectly.
As much as people like to think it... Harkless is not really a SG. Him playing SG there can be done, but his most natural position is SF. That's where he should be spending the majority of his minutes. He might spend 20-25 min at SF and 5-15 min at SG.

I think the only guy we need to put on our trade block is Jameer Nelson (expiring). Nobody wants Harrington. So our only trade assets are Nelson and our TPEs.
We don't need a PG this year.
