A lot of Raptors fans have felt frustration at Bargnani, since he hasn't lived up to his potential. I think he can reach his potential on the Knicks, especially without a GM (Colangelo) who will coddle him like puppy.

Bargnani shouldnt be traded for he is amnesty material.

Hmm, I guess they would rather take on Camby and Novak than use their amnesty. But they are still taking on dead-weight money instead of using one amnesty on one player. Toronto isn't really getting anything "good" out of this deal unless a first-rounder is included.

I'd love to not include a first-rounder, since Bargnani is so lazy and soft, but Toronto would probably look elsewhere if the Knicks were to not include a first-rounder.

I'm trying to see the deal from both sides and I'm pretty neutral.

Knicks have to be sitting on something else to entertain this trade. You instantly make Amare a bench player when hes not. When hes playing hes made good impact on the game. I think the Knicks have something on table for Tyson for sure. Amare thrived at Center for 1/2 season his first season here. Knicks could be factoring that in.

Its funny, everyone wants spacing and a post up player next to Melo and Tyson, now we get it and everyone goes mental.. chill and see if we include the 1st, it would suck but it wouldn't be the end of the world..

Now we have one less contract past 2016 as well which is great.. so even if this pick is in lets say 2018, we could reload by then and have a beast team.

IDC what anyone says but having front court players/options of Melo, Amare, Bargnani, Chandler looks good.

Yes/No. Amare is what we need to next to Melo.

Bargnani is a good change of pace either next to Amare/Tyson or Melo/Tyson or Melo/Amare.
