Honestly i dont feel like the NBA is gonna mess with us again. Mainly because of Tim Lieweke. I just feel so much more secured with Tim around. He has a good relationship with stern no??

Lol at people getting mad at Webster. Relax people. They tried to get it done before July 1st but the league ain't allowing it. Webster most likely knew it which is why they tried to get it done asap but the league is not budging.

whatever buyout is agreed to, that's what counts against the cap. So if Camby wants to get bought out to go play for a contender, he has to give up some of the money owed to him. We pocket the difference in increased capspace.

Just thinking random thoughts. So if we get Camby wants to go to a contender let's try and trade him to Brooklyn and get someone like Tyshawn Taylor, Reggie Evans. Not like Brooklyn would make a deal like that though...

What's bothering me is that the NBA head offices are aware of what the day is but aren't around to let this go through or something. I mean everyone knows tomorrow is July 1st and beginning of free agency but the league offices are refusing to just get the required paperwork done prior to midnight. Yes it's a Sunday, but still.

We could either trade him to a contender.
Or buy him out. The value of the agreed to buy out spread out over the life of the contract equally.
Assuming we dont use the provision on him.
He has 1 gareenteed year and one not gareenteed year.
So I still think it counts as 2 years the buyout would be spread evenly over.

i'm curious to see how bargnani does with the knicks next year. i hope he plays like he did two seasons ago for them... if he does, he makes them a more dangerous team.
