well we need backup sg/sfs who can shoot and/or defend. and run the break well. tho if we cant get an above average shooter, i'd rather get someone who can defend and shoot. a defensive wing should be a top priority for morey, cuz we dont have anyone other than parsons, but he's focusing more on offense now.

but who knows, if we geet howard, he wont have to score as much and might go back to being our #1 defender

Corey Brewer shouldn't cost too much. Not a great 3 point shooter but an above average defender. Won a championship with Dallas. 27 years old like Dwight.
Harden is still a work-in-progress. He can score, but he can't help his teammate that much - Yao Ming

Funny you mention Brewer, when Feigen just posted we're going to meet with Brewer and Dunleavy.

Papanikolaou, the Greek SF you got for T-Rob can shoot the '3 pretty much automatically in spot-up situations, is an above average defender and excels in transition (both offensively and defensively). He can be a good backup to Parsons if you bring him to Houston.

This guy sounds like he'd fit in perfectly right now.

Gah, between him and Parsons, we'd have the exact opposite effect of Kris Humphries playing for us. HORDES of single women would descend on TC, making it the houston hotspot on any game night.

It's too late for this to be of any significance to this married guy, but the rest of you should be on high alert and adjust your budgets accordingly if he's brought over.

sounds like a borderline all star. if thats true then no one would trade him and 3 other players for robinson. im not putting much hope into the 2 foreigners until i hear more confirmed good things about them. highly unlikely they become more than role players

checked their draftexpress page
marko looks like a future project since he only played 2 seasons in his euroleague with 7mpg

kostas has a lotta euroleague experience.. since '08. doeesnt score a lot but does shoot a high percentage both fg and 3pt. fts are boredline average tho. good rebound and d stats.

6'8 230 sf drafted last season. he has size, exprience, and productive overseas. he could be brought over for this season. just waiting for a guaranteed deal i think? he wont ask for much, so definitley should bring him over.

In Europe he is playing some PF too, so in a line up with Parsons can share the F spots with DH. That kind of line up It worked very well for the Magic...

Papanikolaou is extremely good friends (really close) with Spanoulis. I guarantee that the Rockets will have to do everything humanly possible to convince him to play there.

Papanikolaou is well aware of how Spanoulis was treated in Houston, and how on a daily basis the Rockets fan base mocks and ridicules Spanoulis at that clutchfans site. All the Greek players that consider to play in NBA read those comments about Spanoulis and Greek players and Greek basketball at that site.

It is why Printezis decided not to go to the NBA, and that was with a different team.

Papanikolaou is REALLY close with Spanoulis.

He should be playing power forward full time in Olympiacos, but they have Printezis, so he can't play much there. Kostas gives great effort on D, as he has a great motor and is one of the hardest working and hardest playing guys you will ever see.

However, his lateral speed is very slow. Almost like molasses to be honest. The truth is he is a liability on defense in one to one situations against pretty much all the quick small forwards in Euroleague. They just blow past him with the greatest of ease.

He's very slow footed on defense on the wing. He would do a lot better defensively as a small ball four IMHO. But you can never doubt his heart or effort.
