Durant, yes. LMA, no.

Aldridge is better than Mirotic.
The things Mirotic have going for him are his age and salary.

Dude he said he will only trade Mirotic for LeBron, Durant's definitely out of the conversation.

the entire page before this is disrupting the normal flow of conversation on Aldridge.

By the way.....concerning excessive emoticon usage. That sort of thing has also been dragging the forum and we have to start limiting that.

From the thibs/rose article in the trib:

"Rose was close with Adams. And sources said the Bulls continue to rebuff attempts by the shared agency of Rose and LaMarcus Aldridge to bring the Trail Blazers' All-Star forward to Chicago. Sources said the Bulls have been unwilling to discuss a deal of Joakim Noah and Jimmy Butler for Aldridge."

I found this interesting. Kind of confirms there have been discussions. Also, no way shoud they give Noah and butler. Noah alone is questionable, though I would consider it due to fear of Noah's health. I predict this could eventually mirror the pau gasol untriggered deal supposedly for deng and Gordon.
We have Martell Webster. He's called Kyle Korver here, and we shall love him and squeeze him and call him Ashton. -BrooklynBulls

The Blazers cant take Mirotic for LMA because there's always the chance Mirotic stays in Europe. You guys have no assurance he is coming here, despite how much we talk about him.

What if someone in Serbia gets sick and he wants to be closer to home? It could delay his arrival a year. There wouldnt even have to be a reason for it. Some guys sadly use the NBA draft status to get the offer they want overseas, and play the American team to get it done.

I doubt that's the case here, but the thing is Portland knows the range of possibilities. And they need the return they get to be ironclad.

Interesting how this story is now framed on WireTap.

Bulls "Rejecting" Aldridge's Agency's Desire for Trade.

I'd be willing to give up Noah reluctantly for Aldridge, but Noah and Butler both is a little unfair to us.

That's a misleading headline. I fully believe the Bulls want to trade for LMA, and Ralph has said as much. It's just Portland is asking for Noah+Jimmy, and there's no way we're doing that.

I agree. I really just meant it's interesting that it's being framed that the Bulls are "rejecting" something from Aldridge's people. That's hardly the case.

However, each time Aldridge wanting to come specifically to Chicago comes up is good for us. It means those whispers are still out there pretty strong.

I agree, although Clint had a good point, depending on Noah's prognosis health-wise (which I have no clue), then I would certainly do a Noah only trade but given what we know, I wouldn't. And definitely not adding Butler.

Definitely poorly worded. It seems like it will have to be a 3 team trade to make it happen. I don't think we should give up Noah and Butler.

I might actually be willing to include Jimmy though, depending on the package. But probably not Noah, and definitely not both.
