I doubt LAC can pay more than Memphis for Tony Allen. I don't think he would take less to play for the Clips who don't look like a lock for a ring.

At the very most the Clips can only offer Allen or Mayo the mid level. Both those players will get better offers elsewhere. And Dallas isn't taking back any of LA's bad contracts

i don't see BBD and Afflalo lasting on this team, because i don't see either player being happy about being on a losing squad, or giving up minutes for young guys. and for Hennigan, i think he sees his priority being in the development of Oladipo, Harkless, Harris and Vuc, not in placating decent quality veterans.

Is it me or is Bledsoe not really worth all this headache? We have two first rounders next year (Den or NYK, which ever is least favorable). Why dont we just tank, hang on to affllao for this year and maybe package him with that Den/NYK pick to move up in the draft so that we can draft our pg of the future (Marcus Smart/Harrison). Also, having Oladipo on the bench this year will help him in the long run.

Sam Amick ‏@sam_amick 18m
In wake of the widely-expected Chris Paul news, I'm told Clippers' second call last night was to OJ Mayo.Doc Rivers has serious interest.

Sam Amick ‏@sam_amick 16m
Sign & trade with Dallas involving Bledsoe possible RT @notoriouskro: @sam_amick Would signing Mayo require them to move Butler or Bledsoe?

Why doesn't Doc want to help out the "hometown" team in the Magic? :(

Why would having Oladipo on the bench help out in the long run? He needs to sharpen almost all of his offensive skills. The only way to do that is by going against real, legit competition.

Agreed more like risk taking on the Clippers part Memphis doesn't need Bledsoe so not sure how they expect to pry Tony Allen from the Grizzles because the Clippers don't really have a need that could help Memphis. If anything Memphis needs shooters more then anything and that's something the Clippers don't have either.
lol lets for hypotheticals that they actually do trade Allen for Bledsoe. should we offer them AA+our lowest 1st in 2014 for Conley

For Mike Conley I'd be all for that but I would see if they would bite on a 2015 first rounder instead of a 2014  . Conley played really well in the playoffs this year I personally think he's a top 10 PG in the league he's very underrated to be honest.

Length is the name of the game for Henni and I think you could see that on every "assets" he acquires.

Brandan Wright's career per36 and advanced numbers are as follows:

15.9ppg 8.3rpg 2.3bpg 1.0apg 0.9spg .573fg% .665ft%
PER: 19.7
DRtg: 106

To the guys talking about his weight.....he weighed 210 as a 20 year old rookie, He is almost 26 now, I highly doubt he hasn't gained any weight in almost 6 years.

OJ Mayo? Isn't Bledsoe supposed to be more regarded than Mayo? Why would you trade for a player that is not seen as the player you have?

Gotta crawl before you walk. Took Harkless forever to finally get it. Was even benched at one point. Oladipo needs to learn. hell get his minutes, but doesnt need to be starter right away. Besides, were tanking.

If you go by how JV played Harkless and Nicholson then it's not unreasonable to conclude that Oladipo won't start out with big minutes. JV started them out slow and they grew to big minutes late in the year.

Nicholson and Harkless were mid/late 1st round rookies, It's not the same expectation as a #2 pick. You draft somebody at #2, More times then not you're getting thrown into the deep end, ready or not.

The team is selling Oladipo to its fan base, The general fan base (non die hards) are only coming to see this guy, he is not going to be playing a small role player mins off the bench.

I swear it feels like Tyreke has been around so long....not even 24 yet.

He was one of my favorite players to watch his rookie season. I mean coming straight into the league at 20 & averaging 20 points 5 boards 6 assists & 2 steals is outstanding.

His lack of a great jump shot may not mesh well with Dipo & Hark, but when Tyreke is focused, not many are better than him at getting to the rim & making plays.

I think he just wants to finally get out of Sacramento & have a change of scenery, but as others stated I doubt it's in Orlando with how Henny seems to be pursuing the high character guys.

but give me Evans > Bledsoe.

That first play.... :o :o :o
