Nicholson and Harkless were mid/late 1st round rookies, It's not the same expectation as a #2 pick. You draft somebody at #2, More times then not you're getting thrown into the deep end, ready or not.
The team is selling Oladipo to its fan base, The general fan base (non die hards) are only coming to see this guy, he is not going to be playing a small role player mins off the bench.
Well i am one of the few who think we may still have AA, so i can see him starting slow. I also don't agree that the fans are coming to see him. The non die-hard fans probably didn't even follow the draft and don't even know who we picked. They are coming to see if the momentum from last year can grow, so i think those people will come to see Tobias and Harkless. I can see him getting about 25 mins to start and coming off the bench, but that is just my opinion. I realize he's a #2 pick, but he's a #2 with a very unpolished offensive game. It wasn't even a prediction though, just an acknowledgement that i could see him starting off slow.
