Lakers reach out to Byron Mullens

http://basketball.realgm.com/wiretap/22 ... on-Mullens

First dumb move in the makings

Didn't have a problem with the names that surfaced until now but for me it's a big NO a potential signing(especially if we're wasting our MMLE on him)
Mullens is just a midrange(even 3 point line lately) chucker who doesn't do much more else....we have Kelly for that

Wouldn't touch him even if Dwight leaves....we're good with resigning Clark and with what we have
SG/SF positions are priorities

He once told Dwight a funny joke at a party in 2006.

Backup C maybe if he came for the min LOL. I'm not too fond of his game, I know he was touted coming out of college, but he seems to like chucking nowadays.

I have to imagine that this is a backup plan - if at all.

I dunno. Think he'd be a huge upgrade over Sacre. Much better fit in D'Antoni's offense. Shooting #s were skewed last season by the elbow injury (82% FT shooter, only 65% last year). 4 year vet who's production has improved every year. But he's 6 months younger than Sacre.

Anything is better than Sacre, he was just a big for Dwight to push around during team practices last season.
