I went through a phase of several months where I was smoking every day, and multiple times every day. It's fun, but looking back retrospectively, it's quite debilitating for personal GROWTH. felt so content smoking/getting high every day that you're never looking at the bigger picture, especially because weed makes everyday mundane activities so much more enjoyable. For me at least, it sapped my motivation to do anything and I was too content sitting at home/bumming with mates watching tv or playing video games.

Generally I am (and aspire to be ever more so) a proactive and energetic person, and weed's always had the sensation of slowing and dumbing me down, I felt. And recently again, I've been getting into that lifestyle of smoking up and just bumming with friends, and its a cycle I feel like breaking asap.

But yeah physiologically speaking, I have nothing against weed, definitely better for you than drinking/other drugs.

what about no high july. THAT RHYMES

yo, I have a mission of making a couple of my lady friends to stop smoking. I don't even understand why you let your bodies slowly deteriorate.

can't say that alcohol = cigs. we do flush out the alcohol from booze but what happens with nicotine though?

PS: **** you destro. you didn't wait for me. </3

nicotine isn't like bad for you at all iirc, it's just highly addictive. stays in your system for a bit, but eventually leaves. its the smoke going into your lungs that wrecks it.

also i really enjoy smoking cigs on a night out. good way to take a break from the df etc, easy way to meet new people also.

also preaching to your friends (assuming early 20s) about smoking really doesn't go down well

Best movie I've seen this year with the exception of Fast and Furious 6.

so much salt. it's cool though, I don't hold grudges anymore you'll get there too one day. take care man.

makes sense, there's no room for grudge holding with all that ego you have to carry around

yeah - there's pros and cons. moderation is key with that and it definitely has it's place as a medicine for mild cases of anxiety, insomnia, stress and fun.

only time i've heard of americans giving anything up is for new years resolutions (and that only lasts two weeks) or lent, and i don't know anyone who gave up alcohol

i was gonna do it but i realised not drinking for a month was borderline impossible so i'm going to do no-weed july instead.

unfortunately for someone who is trying to stop smoking the biggest negative to quitting is losing out on the social aspect. for some **** reason smoking cigs is such a great way to start convos with random people and just making friends.
