Minnesota has 4 year offers out to J.J. Redick and Chase Budinger, sources tell Y! Redick is priority, but Wolves want to sign one of them.

Good for Redick! He deserves a nice contract like that and if he does go to the T-Wolves then I wish him nothing but the best. I think it would be a good fit for him as well. The T-Wolves will be such a 3-point threat with him, Shabazz, and Love, and of course Rubio finding the open man like he does so well. Hopefully they can get Pekovic to resign, they could really have a good chance of making the playoffs if they stay healthy.

i think Pekovic is a Must Resign for them. i mean hes the enforcer on that team and love aint no C(ok maybe a stretch center ala Mehmet Okur) but thats a waste of his talent.

I heard about this kid but i've never seen anything from him before but man this kid is incredible if he's really 14 years old. He might get up just as high as Wiggins right now!

I think he's 14 still, born on 8/7/98. Just made the U16 USA Basketball team a few weeks ago. He was in 9th grade and is going into 10th. Somebody in USA basketball checked that birth certificate I bet. People have been scouting him since he was 11.

His stats freshman year: 16PPG, 6 boards, 4.5 steals, 3 assists, and 1.5 blocks.

HOLY SH@T !!! This kid is going to be crazy good in the NBA, he is listed at 6-1 at the age of 14 and be is a PG. he will grow another 3-4 inches and be a beast . This will be the highest profile player since LBJ. Only question I have is will he be going to UK.

The tanking talk is getting old to you. The main goal of the franchise is most likely to develop our young core and tank (get a top 6 pick in next years draft.) Im sorry if you dont like it but it is most likely what we will be doing. DOnt worry, we will be good soon enough.

Also, I don't think we set him up for failure. He and Baby, just took it upon themselves to force up shots. Had we taken the team approach on offense like a poor man's version of the post-Carmelo Nuggets, I think this team wins around 30 games.

On this I totally agree. There was a direct correlation between the assists in a game and our success in a game. I watched that all year long. Assists aren't everything and can certainly be padded, but they do indicate games where we tended to pass more, versus where we lost track of playing team ball. In the former we had success, in the latter we always lost.

I understand that those guys had aspirations of pitting the team on their back, or stepping up. I just think that Afflalo went about it the wrong way. After being in the league for this long, he should know his strengths and play the game the right way. His public pouting after JJ moved into the starting lineup kind if soured me on him as a team guy.

On this I sort of agree, but I still think he was in essence told he was going to be the man, and so he tried to be. It just isn't a role conducive to his game, and so he struggled. And totally agree on the starting thing, but that didn't sour me on him exactly. You want guys who want the ball, but ideally you want them to be guys that can actually do stuff with it

He's already close to Ariza's level and it's only his rookie season. You're seriously underrating him in all your posts. In time, he'll prove to be very important because of his ability to play defense.

All in all, I'm not very high on anyone we have except Dipo. But Harkless can certainly be a very valuable member of a contending team.

Let me get this straight, you're only high on dipo and moe but not Harris or vooch??? So you're higher on two guys who have proven nothing than on two guys who have proven to be either scorers (harris), rebounders (vooch), or both (harris)... All at the same age as the two you're "high" on...

Harkless is not yet at arizas level... He is barely above ebanks, check the numbers. I also remember this board touting ariza as the next tmac and almost committing mass homicide when we traded him. Ariza was doing the same things moe is doing now when he was here and he is actually a better defender and ball handler.

Y'all are going to be disappointed in moe because you're putting unfair expectations on him, while neon1 and I will be just fine with his 12 and 6 in 34 minutes in his prime at a decent price (20 million/4 years)

What can I say, I like defensive players. Those are the ones that don't get abused in the playoffs. Vuc can't play a lick of defense and I'm not high on him until he improves that. Centers that can't play good defense are big liabilities because of their job to protect the paint.

As for Harris, I don't like him at the 4, and I haven't seen him play the three much to judge if he can play the 3 consistently.

I feel players like Harkless will improves, while Vuc and Harris aren't going to improve much at all.

Just as an example, if Harris already is what he's going to be, we're talking a forward that's good for 17 points and 7 rebounds per night. If he can do that consistently for the next six-ten years, I'll take it.

Not really saying much, I gotta see what the final roster will be like. Believe it or not, who you play with will affect the progression of your game.

completely disagree. Who you play with may affect your stats, but the things you work on, on your own. practice, shooting, getting your defensive rotations down, etc, that isnt dependent on who you play with.

Nerlens Noel, Dwight Howard, and Joakim Noah played PG in high school. Your position in high school means nothing.
